Gold Hunter M1 EA
Automated Gold Trading with a Dedicated Control Dashboard
Gold Hunter M1 EA combines automated trade execution, configurable position management, and a gold-and-charcoal dashboard in one MetaTrader 4 Expert Advisor. Intended for gold trading on the one-minute chart, it provides a structured framework for running and monitori
ng buy-side and sell-side trading cycles.
From order placement to basket targets and trailing management, the EA handles the trading workflow according to your selected settings. Its on-chart interface keeps open exposure, floating results, and key account figures visible during operation.
Product Overview
| Specification | Details |
|---|---|
| Platform | MetaTrader 4 |
| Intended instrument | Gold / XAUUSD, including broker-specific symbol names |
| Intended timeframe | M1 — one minute |
| Trading framework | Rule-based entries with grid and basket management |
| Trading directions | Separate buy-side and sell-side management |

Key Features
- Automated execution: Opens and manages orders when its programmed conditions and execution checks permit.
- Independent directional settings: Configure buy and sell starting volumes, grid spacing, and lot progression separately.
- Basket management: Tracks directional break-even and take-profit reference levels, with configurable virtual trailing management.
- Cycle scheduling: Two optional broker-server-time windows determine when new automatic cycles may begin. Existing cycles can continue to be managed and expanded outside those windows.
- Execution checks: Checks available margin, normalizes volume to broker requirements, and considers account order capacity before submitting orders.
- Optional RRS management: Additional conditional position-reduction and cycle-exit logic. This feature does not guarantee reduced losses or capital protection.
Trading Dashboard
The dashboard presents buy-side and sell-side order counts, total lots, floating profit, and calculated break-even and target levels. The account overview displays balance, equity, current drawdown, spread, and period-based profit figures alongside selected system settings.
Grid spacing and planned lot sizes are visible on the panel, helping you assess how exposure may develop as a cycle progresses. Chart price lines provide additional visual references for active management levels.
Results and Screenshots
Review the results and interface examples presented in the Screenshots section of this product page. Consider the test period, initial deposit, settings, drawdown, and trading costs shown with each report, rather than evaluating the final profit figure alone.
Historical tests illustrate behavior under the conditions used. Backtest results are simulated results, not live trading results. Screenshots are examples, not a forecast or a promise of future performance. Broker data, spreads, commissions, swaps, execution, and settings can materially change outcomes.
How to Install and Use
- Install the MT4 edition through your MetaTrader 4 terminal and open your broker's gold chart, such as XAUUSD or its broker-specific equivalent.
- Select the M1 timeframe and attach Gold Hunter M1 EA to the chart.
- Enable AutoTrading in MT4 and allow live trading in the EA's Common settings when you intend to permit order execution.
- Review the buy and sell starting lots, progression factors, maximum order count, maximum individual lot size, and exit-management settings before starting. Defaults are not a statement of suitability for your account.
- If using the time filter, enter your preferred new-cycle windows in broker server time. Confirm symbol precision and distance settings against your broker's gold specification.
- Test the configuration in the Strategy Tester. With a full licensed version, also evaluate operation on a demo account before considering live use.
- Keep the terminal connected and running, or use a correctly configured VPS. Monitor equity, free margin, open exposure, and terminal logs throughout operation.

| Lot_Exp_Buy / Lot_Exp_Sell | Lot progression within each directional cycle. |
| Max_Trades | Maximum strategy order count per direction, also subject to account capacity. |

| TP / TP1 | Target-distance settings used in position and basket management. |
| VTP / Tral_Start / Tral_Size | Virtual trailing-management controls. |
| Time_Filters | Enables the new-cycle time windows. |

Operating Requirements
Use a broker account that supports the gold instrument, the required order types, and simultaneous buy and sell exposure if both sides are active. Verify minimum lot size, lot step, margin requirements, and trading costs before use.
There is no universal minimum deposit. Capital requirements depend on your broker, leverage, position sizing, grid configuration, and adverse price movement.
Virtual exit management depends on the EA remaining active and receiving ticks. Disabling AutoTrading, removing the EA, or losing connectivity can interrupt automated management.
The current version does not provide a fixed protective stop-loss or an automatic equity-loss cutoff. Its order and lot limits do not cap total monetary losses.
Risk Disclaimer
Trading leveraged gold and CFDs involves substantial risk, including the possible loss of your entire trading balance. This EA uses grid management and can increase subsequent order sizes through configurable lot progression. These mechanics can accumulate exposure and cause severe drawdown or stop-out during sustained adverse price moves.
Margin checks, target levels, trailing logic, and RRS do not guarantee successful execution, recovery, or protection against losses. Past performance and backtests do not guarantee future results.
This software and its accompanying information are not personalized investment advice. Use only capital you can afford to lose and independently assess whether the configuration suits your circumstances.
