Mtf Rsi Fusion

MTF RSI Fusion is a MetaTrader 5 oscillator that combines a base Relative Strength Index (RSI) with up to two optional RSI overlays. Each source has a configurable timeframe, period and applied price. The overlays have separate weights and combination modes.

The display includes the Fusion RSI line, optional trend coloring and adaptive overbought and oversold zones based on Average True Range (ATR). Trend bias can use higher-timeframe candles, moving-average slope or both. Optional bullish and bearish divergences and signal markers can appear in the indicator window and on the main chart.

Signal modes include Pivot Bounce, OB/OS Cross, Both and Trend Pullback. Pivot Bounce uses a confirmed oscillator pivot; OB/OS Cross detects exits from overbought or oversold zones; Both combines these conditions; Trend Pullback restricts signals to the trend-bias direction. Signals describe indicator conditions and do not establish that a trade will be profitable.

An optional Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) oscillator expresses normalized distance on a 0 to 100 scale. The optional VWAP filter applies slope, regime and distance conditions to signals; it does not generate independent signals.

The supplied RSI periods are 7, 14 and 28 on the current chart timeframe; the two overlay weights are 0.5 and 1.0. ADD and SUB are also available in the combine menu. Optional Bias Blend adds a price-momentum component, while ATR Speed Control adjusts smoothing. MA Fast and MA Slow use linear-weighted averages with initial periods of 20 and 200. Show MA Fast/Slow in subwindow applies them to Fusion RSI; Show MA Fast/Slow on main chart applies them to price.

Settings cover RSI sources and weights, AVG/ADDSUB/SUBADD combination modes, Clamp, adaptive-zone width, trend logic, divergence and signal confirmation, VWAP anchoring and chart drawings. PivotLeft and PivotRight control pivot confirmation. Max Bars, Signal Lookback Bars and Max Draw Bars Back limit calculation and drawing history. Cleanup on remove controls object removal.

Attach the indicator to a MetaTrader 5 chart and configure the source timeframes and optional features. Pivot-based events require later bars for confirmation and therefore involve delay. Closed Bar Only controls the use of closed bars for divergences and signals; it is not a guarantee that every displayed value is fixed. Review behavior in visual testing and on a demo account before use. Support is available through product comments or MQL5 messaging.

For setup, begin with the supplied RSI periods, then select the desired source timeframes. On M5, one example is RSI1=M5, RSI2=M15 and RSI3=H1; this is an illustration, not an optimized preset. Enable Trend Coloring and Trend filter before using Trend Pullback, and enable the VWAP oscillator before enabling its signal filter. Review cooldown, candle confirmation and closed-bar settings, since they affect which markers appear. Divergences compare price and oscillator pivots and can be confirmed only after the required later bars. Higher-timeframe source values can still change while their source candle is open.

For a first setup, keep the default periods and weights, then change only one source timeframe at a time. A Fusion RSI value above the upper zone is an overbought reading; below the lower zone is an oversold reading. These conditions can persist during a trend. Crossings of the fast and slow averages describe changes in the oscillator or price relationship, not automatic entry or exit instructions. Compare the readings with price structure and define invalidation and risk limits independently.
