MTF RSI Fusion — Multi-Timeframe RSI Blend with Adaptive OB/OS, VWAP Filter, Divergence & Signals (MT5)
📌 This Indicator is suitable for both beginner and professional traders, its extremely flexible and customizable
MTF RSI Fusion blends up to 3 RSIs across multiple timeframes into one clean oscillator.
It adds Adaptive OB/OS zones (ATR-based), Trend Coloring (bias), Divergence, and Buy/Sell signals in one framework.
MTF RSI Fusion is a professional oscillator for MetaTrader 5 that fuses up to 3 RSI streams (multi-timeframe) into one clean “Fusion RSI” line, then adds a complete decision framework:
-
Dynamic OB/OS zones (ATR-based) that adapt to volatility
-
Trend coloring (Bull / Bear / Neutral) using HTF candle voting and/or MA slope
-
Divergence detection (bullish / bearish) with optional lines & arrows on the main chart
-
Buy/Sell signals (Pivot-Bounce, OB/OS Cross, Both, Trend Pullback)
-
Optional VWAP Oscillator (0..100) and an optional VWAP Filter regime to reduce false signals
Designed for XAUUSD (Gold), US100/NASDAQ, Forex, Crypto, and indices — works on any symbol and any timeframe.
Note about repainting:
Pivot-based features naturally need confirmation (PivotRight). For the cleanest behavior, keep Closed Bar Only enabled for Divergence/Signals.
What You See on the Chart
In the indicator subwindow you get:
-
Fusion RSI line (colored by trend if enabled)
-
Adaptive OB/OS filled zones (dynamic levels, not fixed 70/30)
-
Divergence arrows (Bull / Bear)
-
Buy/Sell arrows (signal engine)
-
Optional VWAP oscillator line (0..100)
Optional on the main chart:
-
Divergence lines and arrows
-
Signal arrows
(All objects are cleaned automatically when the indicator is removed if enabled.)
Why Traders Use MTF RSI Fusion
Most RSI tools fail because:
-
fixed OB/OS levels don’t fit all volatility regimes
-
single-TF RSI ignores higher timeframe context
-
signals are noisy without bias/filters
MTF RSI Fusion solves this by combining:
-
Multi-TF momentum (Fusion RSI)
-
Volatility-aware zones (Dynamic OB/OS)
-
Bias (Trend coloring)
-
Confirmation tools (Divergence + Signal modes)
-
Optional VWAP filtering to reduce bad trades in the wrong regime
Quick Start (Recommended)
Preset A — Clean & Reliable (Best for most users)
-
Keep RSI1 TF = current timeframe (Period 7–14).
-
Set RSI3 TF = higher timeframe (Example: M5 chart → RSI3 = H1).
-
Combine Modes:
-
RSI2: AVG (or ADDSUB if you want stronger shaping)
-
RSI3: AVG
-
-
Enable Dynamic OB/OS.
-
Enable Trend Coloring and use TREND_BOTH.
-
Signals Mode: SIG_TREND_PULLBACK (highest quality / fewer signals).
If your chart feels heavy / crowded
-
Reduce Max Bars and Signal Lookback Bars
-
Limit drawings with Max Draw Bars Back
-
Disable main-chart drawings (signal arrows / divergence lines) if needed
How to Read the Indicator (Practical)
1) Trend Coloring = Your Bias
-
Bull color → prefer buys / avoid sells
-
Bear color → prefer sells / avoid buys
-
Neutral → no strong bias, wait for better confirmation or reduce risk
Trend can be derived from:
-
HTF candle vote, and/or
-
MA slope (threshold-based), and/or
-
BOTH (agreement required → cleaner bias)
2) Dynamic OB/OS (Adaptive Zones)
Instead of fixed 70/30, zones adapt with ATR regime:
-
High volatility → wider zones (less fake OB/OS spam)
-
Low volatility → tighter zones (more responsive)
Best use:
-
Mean reversion: look for buy setups near OS, sell setups near OB
-
Trend pullback: in bull trend, use OS region as pullback depth; in bear trend use OB region
3) Divergence (Warning + Confirmation Tool)
Bullish divergence: price makes lower low while Fusion RSI makes higher low
Bearish divergence: price makes higher high while Fusion RSI makes lower high
Recommended:
-
Use divergence as an early warning
-
Confirm with:
-
OB/OS Cross signal, or
-
Pivot Bounce signal, or
-
Trend color agreement
-
Signal Engine (4 Modes)
1) Pivot Bounce
Detects RSI pivot + minimum bounce confirmation.
Best for pullbacks and reversals near dynamic zones.
2) OB/OS Cross
Signals when Fusion RSI crosses up from OS or down from OB.
Best for clean mean-reversion entries.
3) Both
Displays either Pivot Bounce or OB/OS Cross signals.
4) Trend Pullback (Recommended)
Signals only in the direction of trend coloring.
Best for trend traders who want fewer, higher-quality signals.
VWAP Oscillator + VWAP Filter (Optional)
VWAP Oscillator (0..100)
Shows normalized distance to VWAP mapped to a 0..100 oscillator.
VWAP Filter (Signals only)
VWAP does not generate signals. It can filter signals by:
-
Slope (rising for buys / falling for sells)
-
Regime (buy only in “below VWAP” regime; sell only “above VWAP”)
-
Extreme clamp (avoid chasing signals too far from VWAP)
Recommended:
-
Enable VWAP oscillator first
-
Then enable VWAP filter only if you want fewer, cleaner signals
Inputs Explained (By Section)
General
-
Max Bars (performance window)
-
Cleanup on remove (no leftovers)
-
Max Draw Bars Back (reduce chart clutter)
RSI #1 / #2 / #3
-
Each RSI can have its own timeframe, period, and price source
-
Overlay weights control how strongly RSI2/RSI3 influence the Fusion RSI
Combine Pipeline
-
AVG = stable blend
-
ADDSUB / SUBADD = shaping around the 50 level (aggressive vs inverse shaping)
-
Clamp keeps output within 0..100
Dynamic OB/OS
-
ATR regime widens/tightens zones automatically
-
Width Min/Max controls extremes
Trend Coloring
-
HTF candle vote and/or MA slope
-
BOTH mode is cleanest but may produce more Neutral states
Divergence
-
PivotLeft/PivotRight control strictness and delay
-
“Require OB/OS” makes divergence higher quality
Signals
-
Mode + cooldown + confirmations
-
Optional Trend filter and optional VWAP filter
VWAP
-
Anchor mode (day/week/month)
-
CalcTF mapping + CorrectMode options
Performance & Clean Chart Tips
For best performance:
-
Keep Max Bars around 1500–4000
-
Keep Signal Lookback Bars reasonable
-
Limit drawings with Max Draw Bars Back
-
Disable main-chart drawings if you prefer a clean chart
EA / Automation Notes (Buffer Map)
If you build an EA later, these buffers are available:
-
Buffer 4: Fusion RSI value
-
Buffer 5: Trend color index (0 bull / 1 bear / 2 neutral)
-
Buffer 6/7: Divergence bull/bear arrows
-
Buffer 8: VWAP oscillator (0..100)
-
