MTF RSI Fusion Basic
MTF RSI Fusion is a multi-timeframe RSI oscillator designed to combine momentum information from multiple RSI calculations into a single structured indicator.
Instead of relying on one RSI source, the indicator blends up to three RSI streams across different timeframes into one “Fusion RSI” line. Additional tools such as adaptive overbought/oversold zones, trend bias visualization, divergence detection, signal generation, and optional VWAP filtering can also be enabled within the same framework.
The indicator is designed to organize momentum, trend, and confirmation tools into one workflow while maintaining a clean chart structure.
Main Features
- Multi-timeframe RSI fusion engine
- Up to three independent RSI sources
- Configurable timeframe, period, and weighting for each RSI
- Multiple fusion and combine modes
- Adaptive overbought and oversold zones
- ATR-based dynamic volatility adjustment
- Trend bias coloring
- Higher timeframe candle bias analysis
- Moving average slope bias analysis
- Bullish and bearish divergence detection
- Buy and sell signal engine
- Optional VWAP oscillator
- Optional VWAP-based signal filtering
- Main-chart divergence plotting
- Main-chart signal plotting
- Performance and drawing management controls
Multi-Timeframe RSI Fusion Engine
The indicator combines up to three RSI calculations into a single momentum structure.
Each RSI source can use:
- an independent timeframe,
- a separate RSI period,
- and a separate applied price source.
This allows traders to combine short-term momentum, intermediate market structure, and higher timeframe direction inside one oscillator.
The weighting system allows each RSI source to contribute more or less influence to the final Fusion RSI calculation.
Fusion and Combine Modes
MTF RSI Fusion includes multiple combine modes for shaping the final oscillator behavior.
Available modes include:
- AVG
- ADDSUB
- SUBADD
AVG mode creates a smoother blended structure.
ADDSUB and SUBADD modes provide alternative shaping behavior around the midpoint region and can produce more aggressive or inverted momentum transitions depending on configuration.
Optional clamping can keep the final output normalized within the 0–100 RSI range.
Adaptive Overbought and Oversold Zones
The indicator includes adaptive overbought and oversold zones instead of relying only on static 70/30 levels.
Zone width automatically adjusts using ATR-based volatility calculations.
During higher volatility, zones can widen to reduce excessive signal activity.
During lower volatility, zones can tighten to increase responsiveness.
These dynamic zones can be used for pullback analysis, momentum exhaustion observation, reversal monitoring, and mean reversion studies.
Minimum and maximum zone widths can be configured manually.
Trend Bias and Coloring
MTF RSI Fusion can apply trend-based coloring to the Fusion RSI line.
Trend direction can be derived from:
- higher timeframe candle analysis,
- moving average slope analysis,
- or a combination of both methods.
Available states:
- Bullish
- Bearish
- Neutral
The trend framework can be used to separate trend continuation conditions, filter counter-trend setups, and identify pullback conditions inside broader directional movement.
Threshold settings for slope analysis are configurable.
Divergence Detection
The indicator includes optional bullish and bearish divergence detection.
Bullish divergence: price forms a lower low while Fusion RSI forms a higher low.
Bearish divergence: price forms a higher high while Fusion RSI forms a lower high.
Divergence markers can be displayed inside the indicator window and optionally on the main chart.
Users can configure PivotLeft, PivotRight, divergence strictness, confirmation behavior, and optional overbought/oversold requirements.
Closed-bar confirmation can also be enabled for more stable signal behavior.
Signal Engine
MTF RSI Fusion includes multiple signal generation modes.
Available modes:
Pivot Bounce
Detects RSI pivot reactions with bounce confirmation logic.
This mode can be useful for pullback analysis, local reversals, and momentum recovery observation.
OB/OS Cross
Signals when the Fusion RSI exits overbought or oversold regions.
This mode is commonly used for mean reversion studies and exhaustion monitoring.
Combined Mode
Displays Pivot Bounce and OB/OS Cross signals together.
Trend Pullback
Signals only in the direction of the active trend bias.
This mode can help reduce counter-trend signals during directional market conditions.
Additional controls include cooldown periods, confirmation filters, trend filtering, and VWAP filtering.
VWAP Oscillator and VWAP Filter
MTF RSI Fusion optionally includes a normalized VWAP oscillator.
The VWAP oscillator maps distance from VWAP into a 0–100 structure for additional market context.
Available VWAP options include daily anchor, weekly anchor, monthly anchor, and configurable calculation mapping.
An optional VWAP filter can also be enabled to filter signal conditions using VWAP slope direction, VWAP regime positioning, and distance limitations from VWAP.
The VWAP framework is designed as a confirmation layer and does not generate standalone signals.
Chart Visualization
The indicator can display:
- Fusion RSI line
- Dynamic OB/OS zones
- Trend coloring
- Divergence arrows
- Buy/Sell arrows
- VWAP oscillator
- Main-chart divergence lines
- Main-chart signal markers
Object cleanup can be handled automatically when the indicator is removed.
Performance and Chart Management
MTF RSI Fusion includes several controls designed to improve responsiveness and reduce chart clutter:
- Maximum bars limitation
- Signal lookback limitation
- Drawing distance limitation
- Optional visible-area optimization
- Automatic cleanup management
- Optional disabling of chart drawings
These controls help maintain stable performance across different symbols and timeframes.

Notes
MTF RSI Fusion is an analytical indicator designed for momentum and market structure analysis.
The indicator does not place trades automatically.
It is intended to assist with momentum analysis, trend observation, pullback analysis, divergence monitoring, and market structure interpretation.
Trading decisions and risk management remain the responsibility of the user.
