ORB Range Architect

ORB Range Architect is a range projection and session structure indicator designed for traders who work with Opening Range Breakout (ORB), session-based price behavior, daily reference levels, and weekly structural ranges.

The indicator measures a selected range window, then projects configurable expansion levels above and below that range. It also includes optional order block zones derived from completed Sessions, previous Days, and previous Weeks.

The goal of the indicator is to organize important market structure directly on the chart while maintaining a clean and readable layout suitable for active trading environments.

ORB Range Architect supports three independent range calculation models.

Session Cycle

Measures the opening range of a selected trading session and projects expansion levels for the remainder of that session.

This mode can be used for:

• London session analysis
• New York session analysis
• Asia session compression studies
• Session breakout and continuation workflows

Daily Cycle

Measures a configurable daily opening range and projects expansion levels across the active trading day.

Weekly Cycle

Measures a selected weekly range window and extends its structure across the configured weekly projection period.

This mode can be useful when monitoring broader market structure and higher timeframe reference behavior.

In Session mode, the indicator supports:

• Automatic Forex session handling
• Up to three custom manual sessions
• Configurable session measurement duration
• Server-time based session mapping

This allows the indicator to adapt to different broker server times and individual trading workflows.

Once the active range is established, ORB Range Architect projects expansion levels above and below the measured range.

Available expansion models:

• Percent-based expansion
• Fibonacci-based expansion

Users can configure:

Optional fill zones can be enabled between expansion levels to create additional visual separation between price regions.

This can help improve chart readability when monitoring multiple expansion layers simultaneously.

ORB Range Architect includes optional order block zones derived from completed market cycles.

Available order block categories:

• Session High/Low
• Previous Day High/Low
• Previous Week High/Low

These zones can be used as additional structural reference areas when monitoring reactions around important highs and lows.

The visibility, extension behavior, and display style of each category can be configured independently.

The order block engine supports multiple freeze behaviors:

• No freeze
• Freeze on wick touch
• Freeze on candle close

Optional mitigation visualization can darken or segment zones after interaction with price.

This allows zones to visually reflect market interaction over time while keeping the chart organized.
