PurrTradeX is an Expert Advisor that allows users to create and test custom trading strategies based on their own indicator signals. The advisor captures signals from manually placed or automatically generated arrows on the chart and uses them to identify trading opportunities.
Key Features
● Signal recording: place arrows on the chart to mark buy or sell signals. The advisor records the values of integrated indicators (RSI, CCI, DeMarker, WPR) around these points.
● Automatic arrow placement: uses the ZigZag indicator to automatically place arrows at price extremes with configurable depth, deviation, and minimum length.
● Trading modes: supports buy-only, sell-only, or both. Includes martingale lot multiplication after losing trades and grid trading with pauses between orders.
● Risk management: options for fixed lot, risk-based lot calculation, stop-loss, take-profit, and equity-based position closure.
● Trend filter: MACD is used to filter trades (buy only when MACD > 0, sell when MACD < 0).
● Control panel: convenient panel for setting, saving, and replacing signals.
How it works
-
Attach the EA to a chart.
-
Use the panel to place arrows manually or enable automatic placement (by default, the “Direction of Automatic Arrows” function is active).
-
Save signals to a file.
-
Optimize parameters in the strategy tester using the saved signals.
-
Run the EA in live mode; it will open trades when current indicator patterns match saved signals above the minimum match threshold.
The EA stores signals in a file for persistence and reloads them on initialization.
