The Pulse is an indicator that shows the accumulation period in real time.

In simple words: Accumulation is when "smart money" quietly collects an asset before launching a powerful movement in the market.

On the chart, it looks like the price is "stuck" in one range. This is the accumulation phase — someone is preparing for a big move. Determining accumulation periods means being able to wait for the right moment.

The Pulse indicator shows accumulation periods, and the price in accumulation can move as it wants, but most often the movement is lateral.


Accumulation periods can be used in different ways:

  • During the accumulation period, you can stay out of the market and wait for the price to release the accumulated energy and start moving.
  • With proper skill and experience, you can trade within the accumulation.
  • If accumulation appears after a long-term price or trend movement, it may be better to review previously opened transactions. For example, to fix a profit or set it at Breakeven.
