Sentinel GRD

Sentinel GRD is an external protection Expert Advisor designed to monitor other EAs by Magic Number and instantly close forbidden BUY or SELL positions.

Sentinel GRD does not open trades and does not use any trading strategy. Its purpose is to act as an external safety layer for other Expert Advisors running on the same MetaTrader 5 account.

The EA monitors configured Magic Numbers and automatically closes positions that are not allowed according to the user settings. For each EA slot, the user can decide whether Sentinel GRD should block BUY trades, SELL trades, or both directions.

This makes Sentinel GRD useful when you want to force directional control over one or more external EAs, prevent unwanted exposure, or disable a specific trading direction without modifying the original EA code.

Sentinel GRD works as a fast external firewall for automated trading systems, helping traders keep better control over active Expert Advisors and unwanted market exposure.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Add Sentinel GRD to any MT5 chart

  • Enable one or more EA slots

  • Insert the Magic Number of the EA you want to monitor

  • Choose whether to close BUY trades, SELL trades, or both

  • Sentinel GRD will automatically scan positions and close forbidden trades immediately


RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Platform: MetaTrader 5

  • Usage: Attach Sentinel GRD to one chart only

  • Magic Number: Required to identify the external EA positions

  • Account type: Any account type supported by the broker

  • Broker: Any raw spread / ECN broker is recommended for better execution

  • Testing: Always test on a demo account before using on a live account


SETUP

  • MetaTrader 5 platform required

  • No external indicators needed

  • Configure the EA slots you want to monitor

  • Set the correct Magic Number for each external EA

  • Enable the direction you want to block: BUY, SELL, or both

  • Keep AutoTrading enabled so Sentinel GRD can close forbidden trades

  • Use the panel to monitor active slots, forced closes, failed attempts, and latest events
