Gold Beast MT5 is an automated grid trading EA built for XAUUSD. Every trade follows a defined strategy with multiple layers of confirmation. It follows a controlled and carefully designed basket-based trading approach.

1. Chart Setup

- Open one XAUUSD H1 chart and attach Gold Beast MT5.

- There is no need to run the EA on several charts or timeframes.

Keep the following active:

- MT5 running

- AutoTrading ON

- Internet connection active

- EA trading permission enabled

2. Recommended Starting Setup

After downloading the SET files, start with:

Gold Beast MT5 - Balanced Moderate.set file

This SET file is the recommended starting configuration for most users.

Run a backtest with this file first before changing risk, growth speed, recovery, or strategy settings.

Recommended account requirements:

- Minimum leverage: 1:100

- Minimum account deposit: $500

- Recommended account deposit: $1,000

Backtest Gold Beast MT5 with different Account Growth Goal Speed and Automatic Risk Level settings to compare performance, drawdown, and recovery behavior.

Change one option at a time so you can clearly compare how each setting affects profit, drawdown, equity stability, and recovery depth.

3. Trading Logic

Gold Beast includes several internal trading strategies.

The EA monitors the gold market and opens trades when one of its strategies meets the required conditions.

The system handles:

- BUY entries

- SELL entries

- Separate management of internal strategies

- Recovery positions when required

- Recovery trade spacing

- Basket profit targets

- Basket closures

- Spread limits

- Trading condition checks

- Protection rules

Normal trades do not require manual management.

4. Lot Size

Smart Auto Lot is the simplest option for normal use.

When enabled, the EA calculates the trading lot based on your account and selected risk settings.

Avoid manually increasing the lot size while Smart Auto Lot is active.

A larger lot size increases profit potential and drawdown risk.

For a new account, start with the recommended SET file before changing individual settings.

Before starting live trading, review these settings:

- Slippage

- Growth target settings

- News protection

- Prop Firm Protection

Prop firm features such as visible SL/TP and minimum trade hold time are optional.

Leave them OFF unless your prop firm requires them.

6. Backtesting

News Filter Backtesting (Optional)

Gold Beast MT5 EA comes with a built-in news filter. For the news filter to work during backtesting, you need a news data CSV file. This step is completely optional. I will provide a free Expert Advisor that generates this file for you. Send me a message to get it.

Attach the free EA to your MT5 chart, and it will automatically create the CSV file with the required news data. Once the file is ready, run your Gold Beast EA backtest as usual. Gold Beast will automatically read the news data, so the news filter works properly during the backtest.

Simple setup, no manual news data entry needed.

Main Backtest Settings

Use the MT5 Strategy Tester with these settings:

Use your broker's XAUUSD historical data whenever possible.

Test across several years.

- Balance curve

- Equity curve

7. What to Test

Avoid optimizing every input at the same time.

Start with the official or default SET file.

Then test one major area at a time.

Recommended order:

1. Automatic Risk Level

2. Account Growth Goal Speed

3. Prop Firm settings

After each change, compare the new result with the original SET file.

Do not focus only on maximum profit.

Look for:

- Strong long-term performance

- Lower drawdown

- Smooth equity growth

- Survival during difficult gold market periods

- Stable results across different years

8. Before Live Trading

Use this progression:

Backtest → Live account

Avoid changing settings because one short backtest shows higher profit.

I have been running this EA on my account for around 1 week now on XAUUSD pair. So far, performance has been stable, closely matching developer's backtest data. Pros: -Low and manageable drawdown. -Clear inputs/set files provided by the author. -Developer answers support questions almost instantly (within 24 hours). Cons: None so far, just make sure to run it on a VPS. Highly recommended!

Quite impressive. Last month alone, EA gained 6% in backtest, and good thing is that backtest matches real trading. So far, so good. It is going in the same good rhythm as the backtest. I will post an update here after a month or so.
