Switch Grid — Alternating Hedge Grid EA
Switch Grid is a smart hedging grid Expert Advisor that builds positions in a clean alternating sequence
Instead of stacking orders in one direction, Switch Grid “switches” direction every time price moves away from the last entry price by a dynamic step. This creates a controlled grid structure designed for range markets and volatile instruments like XAUUSD (Gold).
Key Idea: “Switch” Logic
Once a trading cycle starts, the EA will:
Track the last EA order (type + open price).
Measure distance from the last entry price.
When the distance reaches the required step (Dynamic Step). it opens one new order in the opposite direction.
This produces a balanced, disciplined grid that is easy to audit and consistent across sessions.
