The indicator normally updates smoothly, so this issue may be related to broker data loading, especially when higher timeframe history is not fully loaded in MT5. Sometimes Weekly or higher timeframe data does not load properly at first, and because of that the MTF volume profile can appear incorrect or unchanged on the current chart.
