DEV is incredibly supportive and comes up with solid product, no need to waste time reading manuals and pages, just allow URLs, set M1 chart and leave it. It then works like charm capturing profits for you, clear entries only when it knows it can win. Signal speaks for itself but big fan of DEV and his EAs. Profits to follow in comment section! Thanks for your message. What do you mean by “it will take 40 profitable trades to recover one SL”? Profitable trades are not all $0.20 or $0.50. There have been individual profitable trades of $16.92, $10.61, $3.77, as well as many other different profit sizes. So saying that one losing trade requires “40 profitable trades” to recover is simply not supported by the actual results. One profitable trade can sometimes recover a substantial part of a loss. Trading should not be judged based on one day or one individual trade. It is a long-term process. A trading system should be evaluated over a meaningful series of trades, including both profits and losses, rather than judging the entire system from one loss. GoldWave has never been presented as a system that cannot lose. Losses are part of trading and proper risk management.

SL yesterday, bad R;R ratio, 20-40 to 1, not sure can work long term as 1 sl wipes out more than a month of gains. will ask author to provide fomc, nfp and cpi filter.

UPDATE 31/7/2026 Today second SL hit in the row. Authors signal showing only 6% dd on the same broker. Another red flag for me. With 2 SL it needs 40-80 success trades, highly unlikely to happen

As per author reaction regarding fixed R;R - my concern is not floating R:R, but the current floating huge 40-60 : 1 R:R in terms of average loss and average profit. This floating range I doubt can work long term as it requires something like 95% win rate which is not realistic.

Thank you for your feedback. GoldWave does not use a fixed risk-to-reward ratio for every trade. The EA manages positions dynamically and may close trades early based on changing market conditions, while the stop loss is mainly used as worst-case protection. Fixed R:R maybe popular approach, but it is not the only way to build a profitable trading system. in fact, only very few made money using RR. What matters is the overall expectancy across many trades. This dynamic approach is also one of the reasons the signal account has achieved approximately 600% growth over a year.

DEV is incredibly supportive and comes up with solid product, no need to waste time reading manuals and pages, just allow URLs, set M1 chart and leave it. After further investigation, I have discovered that the backtest results for this EA are manipulated using AI to deceive potential buyers. Do not trust the backtest charts; they do not reflect real market conditions. I am a real user, not a marketer or promoter for this product, and I am telling you the truth: these results are fake. Hi, I need to clarify the facts because this review contains claims that are not accurate. I spent a lot of time helping you and checked your setup through AnyDesk. The EA was installed correctly, loaded correctly, and did open trades. Therefore, the claim that the EA is “fundamentally non-functional” is not correct. Your main concern was the small dollar profit after only a few days of use while trading 0.01 lot, which is the minimum lot size. Dollar profit is directly related to lot size. A small profit on 0.01 lot cannot be used as evidence that the EA is faulty. I also strongly reject the claim that the backtest results were “manipulated using AI” or that the results are fake. The backtests are generated through the MetaTrader 5 strategy tester, not by AI-generated charts. More importantly, the backtest performance and the real live signal performance are broadly similar. The related MQL5 Signal account and its real live trading history were publicly available before your purchase. This is not only a backtest — it is a real trading account history, with over 100 people copying the signal. If the backtest was fake or manipulated, it would not be reasonably consistent with the real live trading record over time. Therefore, the claim that the results are fake is not supported by the facts. The signal has achieved profit over the past 13 months, and the current month is also in profit so far at the time of writing. It is misleading to call the product “fake” simply because a minimum 0.01 lot account did not generate the dollar profit you personally expected within only a few days. Dollar profit is directly related to lot size. A small dollar profit on 0.01 lot after only a short period of use does not prove that the EA is faulty, non-functional, or fake.

I’ve been running it on a small 1k live account, risking 0.04 lots per trade, and I’m up 7.3% absolute gain in the first month. Not a single losing trade so far. Bought this EA about a month ago and since then, I haven't had any losses, which is great! Customer support is also pretty good. I recall there was a trade that although ended in profit, suffered a horrible drawdown and almost hit the SL. I've been using Goldwave since February, and overall I've had a very positive experience. The EA has delivered solid performance, and even when there are losses, it tends to recover and return to profit within a few days. Shengzu Zhong also provides excellent support and always responds quickly when needed.
