Manual trade manager for MetaTrader 5: risk calculator with automatic lot size, one click trading with a safety click, breakeven, trailing stop, partial close and daily limits.
Overview
PinPoint Trade Manager MT5 is a trading panel for manual traders. You choose the risk and the stop loss, the panel works out the lot size, shows the planned trade on the chart as lines you can drag, and after the fill it manages the position the way you set it up. It takes over the routine arithmetic and the repeated clicks of manual trading, so you can concentrate on your own decisions.
The panel never opens a trade by itself. It has no signals and no strategy. Every new position or pending order starts with your action.
Main features
- Lot size from your risk and the stop loss distance, on any symbol
- Planned trade on the chart: entry, stop loss and take profit lines with pips and money shown live
- One click trading for management actions; market orders need a second, deliberate click, so a single stray click never opens a trade
- Pending stop and limit orders planned on the chart or on the Orders tab
- Breakeven, trailing stop, partial close and closing by groups
- Daily loss, profit and drawdown limits
- 53 chart drawing tools, saved per symbol
- Statistics of closed trades, presets and six panel themes
Risk management
The lot is calculated from the risk and the distance between entry and stop loss, using the tick value of the symbol, so the same risk gives the right lot on currency pairs, gold, indices or crypto. The risk can be a fixed amount in the account currency, a percent of balance, equity or free margin, a percent of a custom value, or a percent of the balance at the close of the previous day, week or month. Commission can be counted as part of the risk.
The lot is rounded to the broker's lot step and checked against the minimum and maximum lot. If the minimum lot is larger than your risk allows, the panel warns you and shows the real risk. Before an order is sent, a confirmation window shows lot, price, stop loss, take profit, risk and margin.
The take profit can follow a reward-to-risk ratio, and a smart stop loss option places the stop behind the last swing high or low. Distances are shown in points, pips or price, and the pip size is detected for each symbol.
The Protect tab adds daily rules: maximum daily loss, daily profit target, maximum drawdown, trades per day, stop after a number of losses or wins in a row, maximum slippage and a spread limit. When a rule trips, new trades are blocked for the rest of the server day, while closing and trade management keep working. A news filter can block new trades around high-impact events of the built-in MetaTrader economic calendar.
Trade management
- Breakeven at a profit trigger, with a lock offset that can cover spread and commission
- Trailing stop: classic, fractals, moving average, Parabolic SAR, ATR, high or low of the previous bar, or step by step with the partial levels
- Partial close with up to 10 take profit and 10 stop loss levels, sized by lot or percent and placed by price, points, multiples of the risk or percent change
- Close buys, sells, positions in profit or in loss, or all of them; delete pending orders by type
- Close all positions when the open profit or loss reaches a set amount
- Pending order tools: cancellation level, expiry, one-cancels-other (OCO) pairs and trailing pending orders
- Hidden (virtual) stop loss and take profit kept inside the Expert Advisor
- Trade time manager: actions at a server time you set, repeating on chosen weekdays
Every running trade has its own menu on the chart: close, close and reverse, breakeven now, close a percentage, edit stop loss and take profit, and its own trailing, breakeven and partial close settings. Its take profit, stop loss, partial levels and the breakeven and trailing start can be dragged on the chart. Trades you open by hand, for example from the mobile app, can be adopted and managed in the same way. Hotkeys are available for buy, sell, breakeven and close all, and each one can be switched off.
Chart drawing tools
Trend lines and other lines, channels, pitchforks, Gann and Fibonacci tools, shapes, patterns (Elliott wave, ABCD, XABCD, Cypher, head and shoulders), notes, freehand drawing, a measure tool, a crosshair with a magnifier, and long and short position boxes that can copy their levels into the order planner. Drawings never place or change an order.
Who it is for
Manual traders who want the same risk on every trade. Scalpers who manage trades directly on the chart. Swing traders who leave positions to breakeven, trailing stop and partial closes. Prop firm traders who work with daily loss and drawdown limits. The daily rules are tools only: the panel counts the daily result from trades closed today, so set its limits tighter than the rules of your firm.
Symbols and accounts
Forex, gold and other metals, indices, oil, crypto and stocks, on any timeframe. Hedging and netting accounts, 2, 3, 4 and 5 digit prices and any deposit currency are supported. No DLL, no internet access and no extra files are needed. The panel interface is in English.
How to test the free demo
Run the demo in the Strategy Tester with visual mode on. The panel, buttons, hotkeys and chart lines work there. The tester does not pass typed text to an Expert Advisor, so number boxes keep their value when you type into them: change them with the plus and minus buttons and the arrows instead. In the live terminal typing works normally. The tester has no economic calendar, so the news filter does not block anything there.

Important
PinPoint Trade Manager MT5 is a manual tool. It does not trade automatically, does not give signals or advice and makes no promise of profit. Trading forex, CFDs, metals, indices and crypto on margin involves a high level of risk, and you can lose money. Breakeven, trailing stop, partial closes and hidden levels run only while MetaTrader is open and connected with the Expert Advisor on the chart; use a VPS for management around the clock. Test the panel on a demo account first.
