🛠️ Step-by-Step Setup Guide
1. Create your Telegram Bot (No Webhook Required!)
- Open Telegram and search for @BotFather.
- Send the command /newbot and follow the instructions to name your bot.
- BotFather will give you a HTTP API Token (e.g., 123456:ABC-DEF1234ghIkl-zyx57W2v1u123ew11). Paste this into the EA's Telegram Bot Token input.
- Add your new bot to your Signal Channel and your Follower Channel as an Administrator.
2. Allow WebRequests in MetaTrader 5
For the EA to communicate with Telegram, you must allow the connection:
- Open MT5 and go to Tools -> Options (Ctrl+O).
- Go to the Expert Advisors tab.
- Check the box "Allow WebRequest for listed URL:".
- Add this exact URL: https://api.telegram.org and click OK.
3. How to access your Signal Analytics
The EA constantly logs performance to help you identify the best signal providers.
- In MT5, click on File -> Open Data Folder.
- Navigate to the MQL5 folder, then open the Files folder.
- Open FXBabyTiger_Analytics.csv in Excel to see a detailed log of every closed trade, including Date, Setup ID, Symbol, Profit, and the exact Source/Channel it came from.
