Your risk, sized before the trade. Set risk once - percent of balance, percent of equity, or a fixed amount - and the panel computes the lot for every trade from your stop distance. Drag the ENTRY, SL and TP lines on the chart; each carries a live label with price, money at risk and R multiple, with shaded risk and reward zones. An entry line placed away from price becomes a pending order.
Orders you can account for. Every order, market or pending, is written to a durable journal before it is sent, then checked against the broker's own records afterwards. If the connection drops, the server is slow, or the terminal restarts mid-send, the panel reconciles what actually happened and tells you where it got to, rather than leaving you to piece it together from the trade history.
A daily loss stop you control. Arm it and the panel blocks new trades, and optionally flattens, when the day reaches your limit - measured account-wide, the way a prop firm measures it. Disarming is one click and always your decision.
Three pop-outs. STATS gives a prop-firm view: today, week and month P&L, daily-loss usage, distance to your max-drawdown floor, profit-target progress, win days and profit factor. HISTORY lists your latest closed trades. NEWS shows the next 24 hours of calendar events for the chart's currencies, with an optional pause on new entries around high-impact releases.
Plus one-click breakeven, partial close, trailing stop, close profitable, close losing, close all, and a CSV action log of everything you did.

How to work out your lot size from your stop loss in MT5 walks through the arithmetic this panel performs, including why the ten-dollars-a-pip shortcut breaks on gold and indices, and where MetaTrader keeps the real tick size and tick value.

What it runs on
- Hedging and netting accounts are both supported. The panel reads the account margin mode and adapts, so on a netting account it works with the platform's merged position rather than against it.
- Any symbol and any timeframe. Lot sizing uses the symbol's own contract size, tick value and volume step, so metals, indices and crypto size correctly rather than being treated as forex.
- The action log is written to the shared Files folder as AssistantPanel_log_<login>.csv, so it survives a terminal reinstall and opens straight into a spreadsheet.
- The NEWS pop-out reads MetaTrader's built-in economic calendar, which is available on a live connection and inactive in the Strategy Tester.
What it is
An execution and risk tool for discretionary traders. It sizes the position, places it cleanly, keeps the day inside the limit you set, and writes down what happened. The entries and exits are yours to choose - the panel makes sure the mechanics behind them are right. Free.
