Overview

Harmonic Pattern + FRX is a technical indicator designed to help traders identify structured price formations that may indicate potential reversal zones. It focuses on geometric price behavior and combines it with adaptive filtering to improve signal clarity.

The indicator operates directly on the chart and highlights detected patterns along with potential trade areas, supporting traders in structured market analysis.


How It Works

The indicator scans price action to detect harmonic formations based on swing structure and proportional relationships. When a valid setup is identified, it is displayed visually on the chart together with a directional signal.

  • Green signals indicate potential upward movement
  • Red signals indicate potential downward movement

Signals are generated only when multiple conditions are satisfied, helping reduce low-quality setups.

How to Use

1. Entry Signals

Wait for a completed pattern and signal to appear on the chart:

  • Green signal suggests a possible buy setup
  • Red signal suggests a possible sell setup

It is generally recommended to enter at the opening of the next candle after confirmation.

2. Risk Management

The indicator provides suggested levels for trade management:

  • Stop Loss (SL) is calculated based on market conditions
  • Take Profit (TP) levels are provided for structured exits

Traders may choose to:

  • Close positions partially at different target levels
  • Manage trades manually according to their own plan

3. Improving Signal Quality

The indicator includes optional filters that can be adjusted to increase selectivity:

  • Enable the Linear Regression filter to focus on signals occurring near dynamic price boundaries
  • Adjust the Ratio setting (for example from 4 to 6) to require stronger market confirmation
  • Use ATR-based parameters to filter out smaller or weaker price movements

Increasing filter strength typically reduces signal frequency while improving overall consistency.

4. Market Conditions
