On Chart Watchlist places your symbols and timeframes directly on the chart as compact buttons. One click switches the chart to another symbol or timeframe, so you do not need to open the Market Watch window or the timeframe toolbar while you review the market.

The indicator does not open, modify or close trades. It only changes the symbol and timeframe of charts.

Main features

Symbol list

- Use the symbols from your Market Watch window. The buttons update automatically when you add, remove or reorder symbols in Market Watch.

- Or enter your own list of symbols, separated by commas.

- Broker prefixes and suffixes (for example EURUSD.m or EURUSDpro) are detected automatically, so the same list can be used with different brokers. You can also set the prefix and suffix manually.

- Prefixes and suffixes can be hidden on the buttons to keep the labels short.

Timeframe list

- Choose any timeframes supported by MetaTrader 5, from M1 to MN1, in the order you prefer.

Live information

- The active symbol and the active timeframe are highlighted.

- Symbol text is coloured green or red according to the daily change, using the same value as the Daily Change column in Market Watch.

- Tooltips show the symbol description, Bid price, spread and daily change in percent.

Layout

- Place the watchlist and the timeframe panel in any corner of the chart.

- Arrange each panel as a row or a column, and set how many buttons appear per row or column.

- When both panels are placed in the same corner, the timeframe panel is positioned next to the watchlist automatically.

- Long symbol lists can be split into pages. Click the page button to go to the next page, or Ctrl+Click it to go to the previous page.

- Each panel can be collapsed with its small toggle button. The collapsed state and the current page are remembered for each chart.

- Panels in the top-left corner can move down automatically when the One-Click Trading panel is shown, so the two do not overlap.

Navigation

- Keyboard navigation: Up and Down arrows switch to the previous or next symbol, Left and Right arrows switch to the previous or next timeframe. A modifier key (Shift or Ctrl) can be required, so the arrow keys keep their normal chart function.

- Ctrl+Click a symbol or timeframe button to open it in a new chart window. The new chart can use the same template as the current chart.

- Linked chart sync: when you change the symbol, other open charts can follow. Choose to sync charts with the same symbol (useful for multi-timeframe layouts), charts with the same timeframe, or all charts.

Appearance

- Semi-transparent glass-style buttons with rounded corners. The chart remains visible behind the panels.

- Automatic theme that follows the chart background colour, plus dark, light and custom colour themes.

- Adjustable corner radius, opacity, button size, font, font size and spacing.

- Buttons can widen automatically to fit their text.

- Optional hover highlight and optional glass background panels.

- Optional scaling for high-resolution screens.

Input parameters

Data Source

- Symbol Source: Market Watch symbols (updated live) or a custom list.

- Custom Symbols: comma-separated list used when the source is set to a custom list.

- Broker Symbol Prefix / Suffix: leave empty for automatic detection.

- Hide Broker Prefix/Suffix on Buttons.

Watchlist Panel

- Corner, orientation, buttons per row or column, buttons per page (0 disables paging), and X and Y distance from the chart corner.

Timeframe Panel

- Show Timeframes, Timeframe List, corner, orientation, buttons per row or column, and X and Y distance from the chart corner.

Behaviour

- Sync Symbol Change to Other Charts: Off, same symbol, same timeframe or all charts.

- Ctrl+Click Opens a New Chart, and whether the new chart copies the current chart template.

- Keyboard Navigation and the required modifier key (none, Shift or Ctrl).

- Move Top-Left Panels Below One-Click Trading.

Live Info

- Colour Symbol Text by Daily Change.

- Show Tooltips.

Styling

- Colour Theme, button widths, automatic button width, button height, font, font size, gap between buttons and gap between panels.

- Glass panel behind the watchlist and behind the timeframes, corner radius, glass opacity and hover highlight.

- Scale sizes on high-resolution screens.

Custom Theme Colours

- Button background, button text, active background, active text, text colour for positive and negative daily change, and panel background. Used when the theme is set to Custom.

Advanced

- Instance ID: leave empty for automatic assignment. Set a different value for each copy if you attach more than one copy of the indicator to the same chart.

Notes

- The indicator reads only current quote information (Bid, spread and daily change). It does not request price history for the symbols in the list, so symbols can still be hidden from Market Watch as usual.

- Symbols from a custom list that are not available at your broker are shown in grey and cannot be selected.

- The daily change value depends on the session settings of your broker and matches the Market Watch window.
