Currency Exposure Monitor MT5
- Utilities
- Version: 1.10
When you run several Expert Advisors on one account, each EA controls only its own risk. Nothing shows the total. Five EAs can each risk 0.5%, and all of them can be short USD at the same time.
Currency Exposure Monitor reads all open positions and pending orders on the account and shows:
- Net exposure per currency and asset. Forex pairs and metals are split into their two currencies (EURUSD long = EUR long + USD short). Index, commodity and stock CFDs count as their own asset.
- Net risk to stop loss per currency, in account currency and in % of equity.
- Total risk to stop, leverage (gross notional / equity) and margin level.
- Positions without a stop loss. The tool marks them and assumes a stop at a set multiple of the daily ATR, so they are never shown as "zero risk".
- Risk per magic number, so you can see which EA uses your risk budget.
- Correlated holdings: pairs of held symbols whose daily returns move together. It shows whether they add risk (STACKED) or offset it (hedge).
- Alerts (pop-up, push notification, e-mail) when a currency, the total risk, the leverage or the margin level goes past your limit, with a cool-down.
CLEAN PANEL
- Status badge: OK, WARNING (near a limit) or BREACH.
- Four tiles: total risk, leverage, margin level, positions without stop loss, each with a bar against your limit.
- Currency exposure as a bar chart centred on zero, with your limit marked.
- Dark and light themes. Click the button to collapse the panel.
READ-ONLY
The utility never opens, modifies or closes trades. It does not stop your EAs. It informs you.
HOW TO USE
Attach it to any one chart. It reads the whole account, not only the chart symbol. To get push alerts, enable notifications in MetaTrader (Tools > Options > Notifications).
INPUTS
- Magic numbers to include (empty = all, 0 = manual trades); include pending orders
- Assumed stop for positions without SL (ATR multiple, or % of notional)
- Limits: max net risk per currency, max total risk, max leverage, min margin level
- Correlation window and threshold
- Alerts: pop-up, push, e-mail, cool-down
- Theme, panel position, refresh rate, number of currency rows
NOTES
- Risk to stop uses the broker's own contract data, so it works for forex, metals, indices, energy and stocks in any account currency.
- Values are a snapshot at current prices. Gaps and slippage can make a real loss larger than the risk to stop.
