Daily Target Lock MT5 Trading Capital P stops trading for the day once a profit target or a loss limit is reached, for the whole account or only for the magic numbers and symbols you choose. It closes the positions of that scope, deletes its pending orders and keeps the scope blocked until the next daily reset. It works with manual trading and with any other Expert Advisor. It is free, with no limits.

Protect the whole account or one EA

Scope by magic numbers (0 = manual trades) and/or symbols; empty = the whole account
Nothing outside the scope is ever closed, deleted or counted
Run one copy per EA with its own scope; two copies with the same scope detect each other

Clear daily rules

Profit target: "stop for the day after +X". Loss limit: "stop for the day after -Y"
In money or in % of the balance at the day start
Day P/L = closed results of the scope since the reset + floating P/L, with commission, swap and fees included (option)
Positions carried over from yesterday count with their full floating P/L (balance based) or only with today's change (equity based)
Optional day trailing: once the profit reaches A, keep at least B, raised in steps

Lock until the reset

When a rule is hit: close the scope at market and delete its pending orders, then close any new position of the scope at once until the reset, with the reason in the journal
Positions are closed with their own magic number, so your EA's history stays clean
Or choose alert only: one alert per day and nothing is closed
Checks on every tick, every 100 ms and on every trade event; closes at market (the final result can slip slightly beyond the level)

A reset that respects your clock

Daily reset at any time in broker server time, UTC, Central Europe (CET/CEST, the Prague clock), New York (EST/EDT) or a fixed UTC offset such as +3, with summer time handled
The day state is saved per account and scope in the Common folder: a terminal or VPS restart never resets the day

Today's P/L in money and %, closed and floating, distance to the target and to the limit, trailing floor, lock status and a countdown to the next reset

The tester has no other trader, so a demonstration mode opens trades when nothing else trades and shows the target, the limit, the lock and a blocked trade
