Eagle Queen

Eagle Queen is a multi-strategy Expert Advisor for gold (XAUUSD). It runs 9 independent basket strategies. Each strategy enters on the DeMarker oscillator read on two timeframes, only in its own hours of the day, and manages its trades as one basket with a take profit and a protective stop.

Eagle Queen is a grid system: a basket can add trades against the move at fixed price steps, always with the same lot (no martingale, the lot never grows). Every basket has a protective stop, in money or as a maximum number of levels.

How we test

Backtests run on 100% real ticks from 2008, with commission, slippage and swap deducted from every trade. The images show backtest results on historical data, not live trading.

Requirements

Symbol: XAUUSD / GOLD. Timeframe: any.

Account: ECN / raw spread, hedging (on a netting account each strategy holds a single trade and the results differ from the backtests).

Minimum balance: 5,000 USD for every 0.01 lots, at 1:100 leverage. With this balance the maximum drawdown of the backtest stays around 20% (21.8% from 2008 to 2026). Traders who accept a higher risk can start with less.

VPS recommended. For the news filter, add the address shown in the "Copy this URL" input to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest.

  • Money Management Method: Fixed Lot (uses Base / Fixed Lot), Capital Step (e.g. 0.01 lots per 1,000 USD) or Risk % (lot calculated from the risk on the basket stop)
