Barbaduque Lot Calculator — Position Sizing for MetaTrader 5

Calculate your trade volume directly on the chart using your chosen risk amount and stop-loss distance.

The calculator automatically detects the chart symbol and uses the broker’s tick size and tick value to estimate the lot size.

Key Features

  • Risk as a percentage of account balance or equity, or as a fixed amount in the account currency.

  • Default setting: 0.50% of account balance.

  • Editable risk and stop fields directly on the panel.

  • Stop distance entered in MetaTrader points, not pips.

  • Prominent display of calculated lot size and estimated monetary risk.

  • Volume rounded down according to the broker’s volume limits and lot step.

  • Warning when the minimum lot size exceeds the specified risk.

  • Black-and-gold panel in the bottom-left corner, with minimize and expand controls that preserve entered values.

How to Use

Attach the indicator to a chart, select the risk mode in its settings, enter your risk and stop distance, and press Enter.

Notes

The interface is in Portuguese. Supports Forex and CFDs with contract specifications supported by the indicator. Calculations depend on broker-supplied data. Does not place orders or check available margin or aggregate exposure. Risk is estimated and excludes commission, swap and slippage.
