1. Overview
Alert Bot Signal Scanner is a professional, multi-pair trading signal indicator for MetaTrader 5, designed to help traders identify selective market opportunities through a powerful four-layer confluence system.
Instead of generating signals from a single market condition, the indicator combines four independent confirmation factors to evaluate market direction, trend strength, price structure and momentum. A BUY or SELL signal is generated only when all required conditions align in the same direction, helping traders avoid acting on isolated triggers and focus on more carefully filtered trading opportunities.
The system is built around a simple principle: multiple confirmations before entry, clear trade levels, and disciplined risk management.
How It Works
The indicator evaluates four essential aspects of the market:
- Candle Structure: Examines the direction of the current smoothed price structure to determine whether bullish or bearish conditions are developing.
- Momentum Confirmation: Identifies potential entry triggers when price movement demonstrates sufficient directional momentum.
- Daily Market Bias: Evaluates multiple daily market factors to establish whether conditions favour buying, selling, or remaining neutral.
- Trend Confirmation: Determines whether the prevailing trend supports the proposed trade direction.
These four factors work together to filter potential entries. A BUY signal requires bullish agreement, while a SELL signal requires bearish agreement. When the required conditions do not align, the indicator withholds the signal.

Multi-Pair and Multi-Timeframe Scanning
The built-in scanner examines the instruments available in your MetaTrader 5 Market Watch across five timeframes: M5, M15, M30, H1 and H4.
With the Scan All function, traders can search multiple instruments without manually opening every chart. The dashboard identifies and ranks the five freshest qualifying signals, displaying essential information such as the symbol, timeframe, trade direction, entry price and signal age.
This makes it easier to compare available opportunities, identify developing setups and concentrate on instruments that match your trading plan.
The scanner also includes a signal freshness filter to reduce the likelihood of pursuing opportunities that have already moved significantly from their original entry points. Automatic scanning can be enabled through the settings, while manual scanning remains available whenever you want to review the market.
Automatic Trade-Level Calculation
Every qualifying signal comes with clearly defined trade levels calculated using Average True Range (ATR).
The default configuration provides:
- Entry: The closing price of the confirmed signal candle.
- Stop Loss: One ATR against the trade direction.
- Take Profit 1: One ATR in the direction of the trade.
- Take Profit 2: Two ATR in the direction of the trade.
These levels are displayed directly on the chart, together with visual profit and risk zones. The green area represents the potential profit zone, while the red area identifies the planned risk zone.
The default configuration offers approximately a 1:1 risk-to-reward ratio at TP1 and 1:2 at TP2, before trading costs. Traders can consider taking partial profit at TP1 and managing the remaining position toward TP2 according to their individual trading plan.
All trade-level distances can be adjusted through the available settings.
Daily Directional Filtering
One of the system's important features is its daily directional filter. This component evaluates several market conditions, including price relative to a moving average, momentum readings, trend strength, directional movement, volume activity and previous-day price levels.
The resulting assessment classifies the market as BUY ONLY, SELL ONLY or NO CLEAR BIAS.
When the bullish or bearish evidence is insufficient, the system identifies the market as having no clear directional bias and withholds directional signals. This helps discourage forced entries when the daily market conditions lack sufficient agreement.
Although no directional filter can predict every market movement, combining several daily factors provides a structured method for assessing the broader trading environment.
Economic News Monitoring
The indicator includes an economic news monitor that reads the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar, where supported by the broker's data feed.
It highlights upcoming high-impact economic events affecting the currencies selected in the settings. The default look-ahead period is 240 minutes, allowing traders to review scheduled events before considering an entry.
The news monitor is intended as an early-warning feature rather than an automatic trading restriction. Signals may still appear when important news is approaching, so traders should independently assess volatility, spread conditions, potential slippage and event-related market risk.
For important announcements, checking a reliable external economic calendar is also recommended.
Visual Trading Environment
The indicator provides a clean chart layout designed to make signal review straightforward. It displays the market's directional structure, trend line, daily bias information and signal arrows, alongside the calculated Entry, Stop Loss, TP1 and TP2 levels.
The dashboard provides a convenient overview of the freshest opportunities, while selecting a signal opens the corresponding instrument and timeframe for closer inspection.
This combination of chart visualisation and scanner functionality helps traders move from market screening to setup analysis without having to search manually through every available chart.
Flexible Settings and Trading Styles
The indicator includes configurable parameters for signal sensitivity, momentum-trigger validity, trend confirmation, ATR-based trade levels, scanner freshness, automatic scanning, chart presentation and news monitoring.
Traders can adjust these settings to suit their preferred approach, whether focusing on short-term opportunities on M5 and M15, intraday setups on M30 and H1, or less frequent higher-timeframe opportunities on H4.
Lower timeframes may provide more signals but are generally more sensitive to spread, market noise and execution quality. Higher timeframes typically produce fewer opportunities and may require wider stops and smaller position sizes.
Settings should be evaluated through systematic testing rather than changed impulsively after individual wins or losses.

Before execution, traders should assess signal freshness, market liquidity, spread, trading-session conditions, nearby support and resistance, upcoming economic announcements and total exposure across correlated instruments.
Risk should be calculated from the actual distance between entry and stop loss. A fixed percentage of account equity can help maintain consistency, while appropriate position sizing prevents wider ATR stops from creating excessive exposure.
