Detailed description

Bamboo 1.1 is a fully automated trend-breakout Expert Advisor designed primarily for GOLD (XAUUSD) on the M30 timeframe. It runs six independent breakout strategies inside a single engine.

Six built-in breakout strategies

Each leg trades on its own magic number and can be switched on or off individually:

• S1 — Donchian channel breakout

• S2 — ATR-buffered channel breakout

• S3 — Donchian breakout (long lookback)

• S4 — Keltner channel breakout

• S5 — Volatility squeeze breakout

• S6 — Donchian breakout (long lookback)

Entry logic

• Channel breakout, filtered by an EMA trend filter and an ADX strength filter

• A higher-timeframe trend gate (EMA 480 on M30) — positions are opened only with the dominant trend

Exit logic

• ATR-based Chandelier trailing stop

• Staged partial take-profit: banks part of the position at three levels and lets the remainder run

• EMA cross exit when the trend fails

Money management

• Seven risk levels (L1–L7), from very conservative to aggressive

• Risk-based position sizing, with an early-phase equity ramp so small balances never carry full risk

Broker compatibility

• Symbol-suffix aware (XAUUSDc, XAUUSD.a, GOLD, and similar)

• Order-filling mode detected automatically (FOK / IOC / Return) with automatic fallback

• Margin-aware lot sizing to avoid rejected orders

Recommended use

• Use a 10,000 US-cent account. A cent account keeps your real risk small while the strategy can still use larger lot numbers.

• Start with the Strategy Tester, then run it on a demo account.

• Go live with small capital and increase gradually as you gain confidence.

• Attach the EA to an M30 chart of your gold symbol. On any other timeframe the main strategy is disabled.
