EURUSD portfolio EA: 24 independent strategy legs, each with its own session and volatility filter, ranked and executed concurrently with strict per-trade risk control. No grid, no martingale.
OVERVIEW
GypsophilaEA is not a single entry rule with a single exit rule. It is a multi-timeframe, factor-driven strategy portfolio.
It runs 24 independent strategy legs inside one account. Each leg has its own timeframe, direction, session window, volatility filter, stop-loss, take-profit and break-even rule, and none of them interfere with the others. On every new M15 bar the EA keeps only the legs whose conditions are met, ranks them by their historical quality score and opens the best ones within a fixed concurrency limit, all sharing the same equity curve.
The design idea: no single pattern stays profitable forever, so instead of betting on one, the EA spreads a basket of small statistical edges across the market and lets concurrency and discipline do the work.
The name comes from Gypsophila, a plant whose tiny flowers only look like something once they are clustered together.
HOW IT WORKS
On every new M15 bar the EA goes through five steps.
1. Data. It loads M15 bars only and builds M30, H1 and D1 views by time-aligned aggregation, using the broker's native H4 series for the H4 view.
2. Factors. 40 statistical factors are computed on every bar across the M30, H1, H4 and M15 groups: autocorrelation, kurtosis, skewness, percentile position, efficiency ratio, Bollinger bandwidth, ATR ratios and more.
3. Gates. Seven filters are applied in order: leg enabled, leg timeframe just closed, no position already open for that leg, UTC hour window, day-of-week block, volatility regime (calm or hot), and the factor bucket condition of that leg.
4. Selection. Matching legs are ranked by priority and opened up to the concurrency limit. Signals beyond the limit are dropped, not queued.
5. Exit. Every order is sent with a hard stop-loss and a hard take-profit. Once a trade reaches its leg's break-even trigger, the stop moves to the entry area and can only move in the favourable direction.
There is no grid, no martingale and no averaging down. Risk is fixed at the moment an order is sent.
KEY FEATURES
- 24 legs across four timeframes: M15 three, M30 eight, H1 seven, H4 six. Both directions: 14 long, 10 short.
- Session awareness: legs are limited to Asia, London, New York, the London-New York overlap, or all day.
- Volatility regime filtering: some legs only fire in calm markets, others only in hot ones.
- Per-leg money management: individual stop multiplier (0.70 to 4.80 ATR), reward/risk ratio (1.20 to 16.00) and break-even trigger.
- Concurrency ranking: at most 8 legs open at any time, best-first.
- 12-step risk selector from 0.1% to 3.6% of equity per trade.
- Optional fixed-lot mode (default 0.01) for small accounts or uniform sizing.
- Broker-agnostic symbol handling: enter EURUSD and the EA resolves EURUSDc, EURUSDm, EURUSD.a, EURUSDpro, EURUSDmicro and similar suffixes automatically.
- Automatic filling-mode detection (FOK, then IOC, then RETURN) so orders are accepted across different broker configurations.
- Margin guard: an order the account cannot margin is skipped and logged instead of being sent and rejected.
- Symbol lock: the EA trades the EURUSD family only. Attached to any other symbol it stays loaded, explains why in the log and opens nothing.
- Compatible with hedging and netting accounts.
BACKTEST AND VALIDATION
Performance data is published by the platform's validation service and in the strategy tester report shipped with the product. This description does not advertise any figures.
- Model: every tick, based on the broker's real historical tick data
- Period tested: about three years, October 2023 to October 2026
- Symbol and timeframe: EURUSD, M15 driven
- Test parameters: initial deposit 10,000 USD, leverage 1:100, actual broker spread
- Method: every leg was validated out of sample on its own window before entering the portfolio; the assembled portfolio was then re-run end to end on real ticks to confirm that live execution follows the tested path
About the risk steps: the EA offers 12 risk steps and ships with the lowest one, 0.1% of equity per trade. Higher steps scale both volatility and drawdown proportionally. Any step depends on market conditions, and historical test results do not guarantee future performance.
INPUTS
The release build exposes 8 inputs. The other 39 strategy parameters are compiled in.
- InpSymbol: trading symbol, default EURUSD. Enter the base name and the suffix is resolved automatically; leave empty to follow the chart symbol.
- InpRiskLevel: risk per trade, default step 1 at 0.1%. 12 steps from 0.1% to 3.6%.
- InpLotMode: AUTO for risk-based sizing, FIXED for a fixed lot.
- InpFixedLot: fixed lot size, default 0.01, used only in FIXED mode.
- InpBeOn: enable the break-even stop, on by default.
- InpMagic: magic number base, default 20261019.
- InpMaxTotalRiskPct: cap on total open risk in percent, default 100, meaning no extra restriction.
- InpMaxSpreadPts: maximum spread in points, default 200, effectively no filter.
The leg table, leg weights, factor thresholds, concurrency, position caps and order slicing are baked into the compiled product, so the live behaviour matches the tested behaviour and cannot be broken by misconfiguration.
RECOMMENDED SETUP
1. A 10,000-cent account (about 100 USD) is the recommended starting point. On a cent account use one of the lower risk steps (0.1% to 0.4%) or a fixed 0.01 lot; because of the broker's minimum lot size the effective risk per trade can exceed the nominal step, so confirm it during the first two weeks. For a standard account, fund at least 2,000 USD.
2. Attach the EA to EURUSD, any broker suffix. Other symbols are intentionally not traded; that is by design, not a defect.
3. Any chart timeframe works since the engine is driven by M15 internally, but M15 is recommended.
4. Use a low-latency VPS that stays online around the clock. The engine is driven by M15 bar closes and will miss signals while disconnected.
5. Prefer an account with a tight EURUSD spread, such as a raw-spread or ECN account.
6. Do not run several instances of this EA on the same symbol and account, as the magic numbers would collide.
7. Run it on demo first and compare the behaviour with the shipped tester report.
RISK DISCLOSURE
- Past performance does not guarantee future results. Backtests use historical tick data; live results differ because of spread, slippage, execution speed and broker quotation differences.
- This EA trades EURUSD only. Not opening trades on other symbols is a design constraint, not something to work around.
- The upper risk steps, 2.5% to 3.6%, are aggressive and can produce significant drawdowns in adverse conditions. The default step is the lowest one.
- Trading foreign exchange and CFDs carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all invested capital. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
- This product is a trading tool. It is not investment advice and no return is promised or implied.
- Test on a demo account or with a small live account for at least one to two months before scaling up.
