Gold Sigma EA is a trend-following trading robot designed specifically for trading XAUUSD (Gold) on the MetaTrader 5 platform. The EA operates on the M15 timeframe and uses a disciplined, rules-based approach to identify and capture sustained price movements.
The core of the strategy is an ATR-based trailing stop that adapts to market volatility. When price crosses this trailing level, the EA generates a signal. An optional EMA 200 filter helps ensure trades align with the broader trend direction.
This EA is built for traders who understand that trend-following systems typically have a lower win rate but larger average winners — the strategy is designed to cut losses short and let profits run.
How It Works
The EA calculates a dynamic trailing stop based on the Average True Range (ATR) and a user-defined Key Value. This trailing stop acts as the primary signal generator:

A Buy signal is triggered when price crosses above the trailing stop.

A Sell signal is triggered when price crosses below the trailing stop.
When the EMA 200 filter is enabled, the EA only takes Buy signals when price is above the EMA, and Sell signals when price is below the EMA — ensuring trades follow the prevailing trend.
Once a position is opened, the EA applies a fixed percentage-based Stop Loss and Take Profit. If trailing stop is enabled, the EA will automatically adjust the Stop Loss as the trade moves in your favour, using an ATR-based multiplier to lock in profits.
