# Camellia Multi-Symbol EA

## Strategy composition
- **21 sub-strategies**: 16 on H1 + 5 on H4/D1
- **Instruments** (4 active baskets, replaceable): XAUUSD gold 13, BTCUSD bitcoin 4, USDJPY 2, NZDJPY 2
- **Timeframes**: H1 / H4 / D1
- Each sub-strategy has its own signal, its own position and its own exit. They never close, resize or block each other.
## Risk and sizing
- **9 risk levels**: each sub-strategy risks 0.10% – 3.00% of equity (panel numbers 1–9)
- Stop loss and take profit are ATR-derived, and each sub-strategy carries its own values
- When drawdown passes a built-in threshold the size factor is reduced progressively — **it only de-risks, it never halts trading and never force-closes**
- Lot size is derived from equity and stop distance. **If the computed lot is below the broker's minimum, that single order is skipped**
- **The EA will not open a position while the market is closed.** A per-symbol trading-calendar check runs before every entry, including the weekend case that servers answer with "Market closed"
## Compatibility
- Symbol names are resolved against your broker's suffix automatically: type `XAUUSD` and the EA resolves `XAUUSDm` / `XAUUSDc` / `XAUUSD.pro` at startup
- If a symbol cannot be found, **only that basket is switched off** — the remaining sub-strategies keep running
- Works on both netting and hedging accounts
- No DLL, no file access, no network access
## Getting started
- **A 10,000-cent account (≈ $100) is the intended starting point**
- Backtest first, then demo, **then live with small size**
- The 21 sub-strategies can be switched individually, so you can run any subset
> **About small accounts**: when the computed lot falls below the broker's minimum volume, that order
> is skipped. This is protection by design, not a fault. Low risk levels are the case to watch — on a
> $100 account the lowest level skips a large share of signals and will look like reduced activity
> even though the EA is running normally.
