Deep Reaper is a fully automated Expert Advisor for gold (XAUUSD), combining eight independent range-breakout strategies, volatility-adaptive position management and portfolio risk control. It identifies trading setups, places pending orders, calculates position sizes and manages open trades.

The Expert Advisor operates on a real trading account. Risk per trade is set to 4% of the current account balance, excluding floating profit and loss. This is a per-trade risk setting, not a maximum drawdown limit.

1. TRADING SYSTEM
The core approach is Range Breakout: trading price movements following a breakout of an established range. Each of the eight strategies has its own entry conditions and position-management settings.
• Market: XAUUSD (gold); chart timeframe: M1.
• Pending Buy Stop and Sell Stop entries.
• Multiple independent strategies can operate simultaneously.
• Automatic order and position management, with broker volume and trading-condition checks.
• No martingale, averaging down, or recovery grids.
• Each position has its own protective Stop Loss.
2. VOLATILITY-ADAPTIVE POSITION MANAGEMENTStop Loss and Take Profit distances are calculated with reference to market volatility using Average True Range (ATR). The management system includes individual Stop Loss and Take Profit levels, automatic Break Even and dynamic Trailing Stop. Each strategy uses its own management settings; the internal entry rules and coefficients are not disclosed.
3. POSITION SIZING AND RISK CONTROLThree position-sizing modes are available:
• Risk per Trade (%): risk as a percentage of the current account balance.
• Fixed Cash Risk: a fixed monetary risk amount per trade in account currency, regardless of balance growth.
• Fixed Lot Size: a user-selected volume, for example 0.01 lots.
The EA includes a portfolio rule designed to limit the total estimated risk to active Stop Loss levels to 50% of current account balance. The number of risk-exposed positions is determined from the selected risk settings. A position whose Stop Loss has moved to break-even no longer uses a risk slot.
IMPORTANT: 50% is an estimated simultaneous stop-loss exposure limit, NOT a guaranteed maximum account drawdown. Slippage, gaps, trading costs and successive losing trades can cause greater losses. This is an aggressive upper limit, not a recommended risk level.
4. HISTORICAL BACKTEST — 2004–2026The following results are from a single extended XAUUSD backtest with a fixed $200 cash risk per trade, without increasing risk as the balance grew:
• Initial deposit: $10,000.
• Net Profit: $384,632.23.
• Profit Factor: 2.79.
• Maximum relative Equity Drawdown: 12.00%.
• Closed positions: 10,105.
• Positive calendar periods: 23 of 23 (2004 and 2026 are partial years).

All annual net-profit amounts are rounded to whole USD; Profit Factor is rounded to two decimal places. 2004 and 2026 cover partial calendar years. The results are from ONE continuous backtest, not 23 separate tests each restarting at $10,000.

TEST CONFIGURATION NOTICE: These historical results belong to the earlier portfolio configuration using a fixed $200 risk per trade, BEFORE the new 50% aggregate-risk rule. The updated risk-control implementation may change trade count, profit and drawdown and requires a separate validation test. Historical performance does not guarantee future results.
