Master PSAR for MetaTrader 5
Description
Master PSAR is a technical indicator developed for MetaTrader 5 based on the classic Parabolic SAR method created by J. Welles Wilder.
The indicator places dynamic points above or below the price according to the directional state calculated by the Parabolic SAR formula.
When the calculated state is bullish, the PSAR points are displayed below the price. When the calculated state is bearish, the points are displayed above the price.
Trend Analysis
Master PSAR follows changes in price direction using the acceleration factor and extreme price values defined by the Parabolic SAR calculation.
As a directional movement continues, the acceleration factor can increase until it reaches the configured maximum value. This allows the PSAR points to progressively adjust according to the development of the movement.
When the price crosses the calculated SAR level, the indicator changes its directional state and begins a new PSAR sequence on the opposite side of the price.
Visual Representation
Bullish PSAR points are displayed in light blue. Bearish PSAR points are displayed in red.
The position and color of the points provide a visual representation of the directional state calculated by the indicator. The indicator does not execute trades or create automatic orders.
Score and State
In addition to the visual PSAR points, Master PSAR calculates internal Score and State information representing the detected directional condition.
Positive Score values represent a bullish directional state and negative values represent a bearish directional state. A change in direction receives a stronger Score than normal trend continuation.
The State identifies whether the current calculated structure is bullish or bearish.
Parameters
Step
Defines the acceleration factor increment used by the Parabolic SAR calculation.
Maximum
Defines the maximum value allowed for the acceleration factor.
Usage
Master PSAR can be used as a complementary tool for trend analysis, directional market reading and visual identification of changes in the calculated price direction.
The indicator can be applied to different instruments and chart timeframes available in MetaTrader 5.
The Step and Maximum parameters can be adjusted according to the instrument, timeframe and analysis method used by the trader.
Important
Master PSAR is a technical analysis and decision-support tool. The indicator does not predict future market movements and does not guarantee financial results. Its information should be evaluated together with market context, the trader's analysis method and appropriate risk management criteria.
