How To Use

Step 1: Attach the indicator to any chart in MetaTrader 5. The dashboard and control buttons will appear automatically, and an initial scan will identify order blocks in the lookback window.

Step 2: Configure detection sensitivity. Adjust the Lookback Period (bars to scan), MinMovePips (minimum move to confirm an OB), and MinCandleCount to match your preferred timeframe and trading style.

Step 3: Set visual preferences. Choose colors for bullish/bearish/filled zones, adjust transparency, and decide whether to show labels. Enable ShowFreshOnly or AutoHideFilled to focus on actionable zones.

Step 4: Configure alerts. Enable proximity alerts (AlertDistancePips) to be notified when price approaches a zone, and/or mitigation alerts to know when a zone is tested. Set AlertCooldownMinutes to control notification frequency.

Step 5: Enable notification channels. Activate Push Notifications and/or Email Alerts if you want to receive alerts away from the terminal.

Step 6: Monitor and interact. Use the dashboard to track zone counts and status. Use Refresh to rescan for new blocks, Clear All to remove drawn objects, or toggle Alerts on/off as needed.

Step 7: Trade with context. Use identified order blocks as potential support/resistance zones for entries, stop placement, or profit targets—always in conjunction with your broader trading strategy and risk management.
