VRD Insight EA Performance Tracker MT5
- Utilities
- Version: 1.30
- Updated: 26 October 2026
VRD Insight groups your MT5 account history by magic number and shows each EA's results on your chart, with a terminal health scorecard. Read-only, with no website or sign-up.
Your MT5 history shows trades, not strategies. If you run more than one EA on an account, it is hard to see which one is adding to the account and which one is costing you.
VRD Insight groups your account by magic number and shows each strategy on the chart as soon as you attach it.
What you see
- One row per EA (magic number), named from the trade comment or shown as "Magic N"
- Closed results per EA, built from your account's exit deals
- Open exposure per EA: floating result and number of open positions
- Account maximum drawdown, measured from the running peak of the balance curve
- Manual trades (magic number 0) grouped separately as their own "Manual" row
- A cadence strip per EA: green active, amber quiet, red dark, with time since last trade
- A terminal health scorecard with green, amber and red dots for free RAM, CPU cores and load, ping and connection, tick age, free disk and uptime
Who it is for
Traders running several EAs on one account who want a per-EA results panel inside MT5.
How to start
1. Attach VRD Insight to any chart.
2. The panel reads your history and lists your strategies by magic number.
3. Leave it running: the panel refreshes every second and rebuilds history every 15 seconds by default.
Good to know
- Read-only. Insight contains no order code, so it never opens, changes or closes an order.
- No WebRequest, no DLL and no external connection.
- Interface in 7 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian and Russian. Picked automatically from your terminal, with a manual override.
- Dark or light theme picked automatically from your chart background. Scales from 100% to 250% DPI.
- Collapsible panel. Its position and collapsed state are remembered.
- Optional local snapshot: writes a JSON file to MQL5/Files/VRD/ on each rebuild, for your own records. Off by default. The file contains your account number and server name.
- In the Strategy Tester it shows a sample-data panel (three demo strategies), because a tester account has no real multi-EA history.
- Results are grouped by magic number only. On netting accounts, a position shared by several EAs counts under that position's magic number, and reversal deals are not counted.
Statistics describe past trades only and do not predict future results.
