Axos Price Action
- Indicators
- Version: 3.5
AXOS Smart Money Supply and Demand is a technical indicator for MetaTrader 5 that identifies potential supply and demand zones using price movement and swing analysis.
The indicator displays calculated volume information for each zone, including estimated buying and selling percentages. It also includes an optional Moving Average trend filter and configurable zone detection settings.
The indicator can be used for technical analysis on Forex, Gold, indices and cryptocurrency charts.
1. Supply and Demand Zones
The indicator analyzes historical price movements to identify potential supply and demand areas.
-
Supply Zone (Sell Zone): A price area where selling activity may develop.
-
Demand Zone (Buy Zone): A price area where buying activity may develop.
Identified zones are displayed directly on the chart using customizable colors.
Traders can use these areas as reference levels when evaluating price reactions, market structure and possible trading setups.
2. Volume Information
Each detected zone includes calculated volume information.
The displayed information consists of:
-
Vol: Calculated volume associated with the zone.
-
B%: Estimated buying volume percentage.
-
S%: Estimated selling volume percentage.
For example:
Sell Zone | Vol: 299.6K (B:46% / S:54%)
In this example, the calculated volume is 299,600, with an estimated buying percentage of 46% and selling percentage of 54%.
The percentages are derived from the indicator's internal calculations using available broker data. They do not represent verified institutional order flow or exact market-wide buying and selling transactions.
3. Automatic Volume Updates
The indicator calculates initial volume information using historical candle data.
When a new candle closes, the indicator updates the relevant zone volume calculations and estimated buying and selling percentages.
The updated information is displayed on the chart.
These calculations depend on the available price and volume data provided by the broker.
4. Moving Average Trend Filter
The indicator includes an optional Moving Average filter.
Users can enable or disable this filter and configure its calculation settings.
Available parameters:
-
InpUseMAFilter: Enables or disables the trend filter.
-
InpMAPeriod: Sets the Moving Average period.
-
InpMAMethod: Selects the Moving Average calculation method.
An example configuration uses a 200-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA).
The filter adds trend-based conditions to the zone detection process.
5. Zone Detection Settings
The indicator provides the following settings:
-
InpMaxActiveZones: Maximum number of active zones displayed on the chart.
-
InpMinMoveBars: Minimum movement-related bar requirement used by the detection algorithm.
-
InpSwingLookback: Number of bars used for swing analysis.
-
InpMaxBars: Maximum number of historical bars processed.
These parameters allow users to adjust the zone detection and display behavior.

9. Important Information
Supply and demand zones are potential technical reference areas. They do not guarantee that price will reverse or continue in a particular direction.
The volume values and estimated buying and selling percentages are calculated using the indicator's internal methodology and available broker data. They should not be interpreted as complete exchange-level order flow.
The indicator provides technical analysis information only and does not guarantee trading results.
Historical chart examples do not guarantee future performance. Trading involves financial risk, and users should apply appropriate risk management.
AXOS Smart Money Supply and Demand is an indicator, not an automated trading system.
