Session High Low Indicator MT5
- Indicators
- Version: 1.10
| Input | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| InpDaysToDraw | 10 | Draws sessions whose starting dates fall within today and the previous 9 calendar days. These are calendar days, not 10 trading days; days without market data produce no boxes. |
| InpMaximumTimeframe | 1 Hour | The highest chart timeframe on which the indicator remains visible. With H1 selected, boxes appear on H1 and lower timeframes but are removed on higher timeframes such as H4, and D1. |
| InpShowLabels | true | Displays the session name and its high/low prices above the box. Example: Asia 1.12583 / 1.12217 . Set to false to hide these labels. |
| InpLabelFontSize | 8 | Sets the label text size. Larger values make the text larger. The code accepts values from 6 to 40. |
| InpFillBoxes | true | Fills each session rectangle with its configured color. Set to false for an outline-only rectangle. |
| InpDrawInBackground | true | Draws boxes and extension lines behind the price chart. In this implementation, labels remain in the foreground regardless of this input. |
| InpBoxBorderWidth | 1 | Sets the rectangle outline thickness in pixels, from 1 to 5. This is mainly useful when InpFillBoxes = false ; MT5 does not apply line-width changes to filled rectangles in the same way. |
| InpExtensionHours | 3 | Extends both levels for 3 hours after the session ends. Set to 0.0 to disable extensions. Fractional hours are allowed: 0.5 means 30 minutes, and 1.5 means 90 minutes. |
| InpExtensionStyle | STYLE_DOT | Displays the extension lines as dotted lines. This affects extensions only, not the session rectangle outline. |
| InpExtensionWidth | 1 | Sets extension-line thickness in pixels, from 1 to 5. For reliable dotted or dashed rendering, keep this at 1; thicker lines can lose their broken-line style in MT5. |
