Cumulative Volume Delta MA-X MTF with Gradient Momentum
This indicator performs multi-timeframe volume delta analysis for MetaTrader5. It calculates the net difference between buying and selling pressure by analyzing tick or real volume data, providing a visual representation of order flow sentiment.
Indicator Logic and Features
The indicator uses a mathematical approach to volume analysis:
-
Data Sourcing: Supports both Real Volume (for Exchange assets) and OHLC Wick Proxy calculations (for Forex/CFD).
-
Gradient System: A 4-color moving average identifies trend stages:
-
DeepSkyBlue: Positive values, ascending.
-
Orange: Positive values, descending.
-
Magenta: Negative values, descending.
-
Purple: Negative values, ascending.
-
5-Layer Confluence System
The indicator integrates five distinct analytical methods:
Layer 1: Volume Delta Core Calculates the direction and magnitude of volume delta to represent market sentiment.
Layer 2: Momentum Throttle & Regime Flow Identifies the velocity of delta movements.
-
▲▲ / ▼▼: Indicators of strong momentum acceleration.
-
Regime Flow: Displays acceleration or deceleration within the current bullish or bearish cycle.
Layer 3: Moving Average Cross (MAX) A trend-following component using the 4-color gradient logic to confirm the prevailing regime.
Layer 4: Exhaustion & Divergence Detects discrepancies between price and volume:
-
White Arrow: Potential selling exhaustion or bullish divergence.
-
Yellow Arrow: Potential buying exhaustion or bearish divergence.
Layer 5: Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Confluence Analyzes data from up to six timeframes (D1 to M5) simultaneously. A weighting algorithm processes these inputs to provide a consolidated Confidence Score.
On-Chart HUD and Technical Data
The indicator includes a real-time dashboard displaying the active configuration:
-
Volume Source: Displays the current data feed selected.
-
Divergence Mode: Shows active detection settings (Full Swing vs Max/Min).
-
MA Type: Identifies the averaging method (VWAP, Zero-Lag EMA, or Standard EMA).
Notifications and Integration
-
Alerts: Terminal audio/visual pop-ups, Email, and Push notifications.
-
Expert Advisor (EA) Ready: The Bias State Buffer provides a numeric output for developers wishing to integrate the MTF state into automated systems.
Input Parameters
-
Averaging Type: VWAP of Delta, Zero-Lag EMA, Standard EMA.
-
Delta Source: OHLC Wick Proxy, Real Volume.
-
Divergence Detection: Full Swing Points, Max/Min Only.
-
MTF Weights: Customizable priority for different timeframes.
