Godbot Gold Dual Grid EA

Godbot Gold Dual Grid EA is a grid-based Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 hedging accounts, built for gold (XAUUSD). It uses position averaging with increasing lot sizes. You run two copies on two charts of the same symbol: one set to BUY ONLY and one set to SELL ONLY, each with its own Magic Number.

Features

  • BUY ONLY or SELL ONLY mode per copy, each with its own Magic Number
  • Fully adjustable lot size, lot steps and grid distances
  • Adjustable take profit
  • Maximum positions limit (default 16)
  • Drawdown protection per copy, by percent of balance or by dollar amount (on by default, 30%)
  • On-chart panel with ACTIVE / PAUSE and CLOSE ALL buttons and live status

Recommended setup

  • Symbol: XAUUSD / GOLD with a 2-digit price
  • Account: hedging account only
  • Chart: M1
  • Open two charts of the same symbol. Load one with mode BUY ONLY and the other with SELL ONLY, and give them different Magic Numbers.
  • Use a broker with low gold spreads and a VPS for continuous running.
  • Start with a small lot. Default is 0.01.

Input parameters

  • Select Trading Mode: BUY ONLY or SELL ONLY
  • Magic Number: unique ID for the copy
  • Grid settings: initial lot size, lot repeat count, lot increment step, take profit, maximum positions
  • Gap configuration: distance between grid levels, set separately for each position
  • Drawdown protection: on/off, percent limit, dollar limit

Important risk warning

This EA is a grid / martingale-style system. It adds trades while price moves against you, increases lot size as the grid grows, and has no stop loss on individual trades. A strong one-way trend can create large floating losses and can wipe out an account, especially with large lots. Drawdown protection and the position limit reduce risk but cannot remove it, and they work only at the values you set.

  • Test on a demo account before using real money.
  • Use a small lot relative to your balance and keep enough free margin.
  • Past results and backtests do not guarantee future results. Spread, slippage and swap affect real trading.
  • Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
