Breakout in Confidence
Session Range Breakouts • EMA Momentum • Order Blocks
Breakout in Confidence is an intraday breakout-analysis indicator designed to help traders identify and evaluate Opening Range Breakouts (ORB) across three major market sessions:
- Asian
- London
- New York
Each session can be independently enabled and its Opening Range can be calculated using M5, M15 or M30 data. The indicator then extends the established session range using Fibonacci-based projection levels while incorporating the Scalping Engine EMA framework and an optional ATR-expanded Order Block system.The result is a structured intraday framework designed to help traders evaluate session breakouts, momentum, projected price targets and potential reaction zones from a single chart.
Opening Range Breakout
Once an Opening Range has been established, the indicator provides the upper and lower boundaries of that session's range. Traders can then observe how price behaves when it:
- Breaks above the range
- Breaks below the range
- Retraces back toward the range
- Continues away from the range
- Rejects the breakout
- Expands into projected Fibonacci levels
The Opening Range is intended to provide a market-structure reference, not an automatic trade signal. A breakout should be evaluated together with momentum, price action and the surrounding market environment.
Fibonacci Breakout Extensions
Breakout in Confidence extends the upper and lower boundaries of each Opening Range using multiple Fibonacci-based extension levels as potential take profit areas.
Volume-Based Order Block Engine
Scalping Engine also includes an optional Volume-Based Order Block engine. The Order Block system uses tick-volume analysis and HMA-based calculations to identify areas associated with increased volume activity and directional volume pressure. The indicator can display estimated:
BUY % / SELL %
to provide an additional view of the relative volume characteristics surrounding an identified Order Block.
These percentages are calculated from available tick-volume information and represent an estimated volume-based pressure distribution, not actual centralized exchange bid/ask volume.
Multi-Timeframe Order Blocks
The Order Block engine can be used independently of the active chart timeframe.
Available analysis selections include:
- Current
- M5
- M15
- H1
This allows traders to combine their active scalping timeframe with broader Order Block context.
Order Block Sensitivity
The Order Block engine provides selectable sensitivity levels:
Sensitivity 1
More responsive to volume changes and identifies more potential areas.
Sensitivity 3
Balanced sensitivity for general-purpose use.
Sensitivity 5
Less sensitive and more selective, focusing on stronger volume conditions.
Filled, Broken & Active Order Blocks
The Order Block system can provide visual information for active and previously identified zones. Filled Order Blocks can be displayed as colored areas to make the zones easier to identify visually. The indicator can also display closed/broken Order Blocks, allowing traders to retain historical context rather than immediately removing every zone after it has been invalidated. This can help traders study how price interacted with previous volume-based areas.
Alert System
Breakout in Confidence includes optional notifications for important market events.
Available notification types include:
- Popup alerts
- Push notifications
- ORB alerts
The alert system is optional and can be disabled when the trader wants a purely visual charting tool.

ORB and Order Block Features Are OFF by Default
To improve initial loading performance and chart efficiency, the Opening Range Breakout calculations and Order Block visualization are disabled by default.
