Overview
Rilvanta RSI PrimeSuite is a pure RSI analysis indicator designed for traders who want a complete RSI-based view without mixing in unrelated trend, volume, VWAP, ATR, Bollinger, SMC, ICT or moving-average filters. The indicator focuses on the core tools that make RSI useful: overbought and oversold zones, extreme levels, 50-line momentum control, regular divergence, hidden divergence, failure swing patterns, RSI momentum shifts and RSI structure.
The goal is not to produce random arrows. The indicator builds a complete RSI context inside a dedicated subwindow and optionally marks confirmed RSI events on the main price chart.

Pure RSI concept
Rilvanta RSI PrimeSuite does not use VWAP, volume analysis, ATR regimes, EMA trend filters, ADX, Ichimoku, Bollinger Bands, market structure zones, order blocks, liquidity concepts or external data. Every context state comes directly from RSI itself.
Overbought and oversold explanation
The indicator displays standard and extreme RSI zones:
- Overbought: default 70
- Oversold: default 30
- Extreme overbought: default 80
- Extreme oversold: default 20
- Midline: default 50
The 50-line is used as a momentum control area. RSI above 50 suggests bullish control, while RSI below 50 suggests bearish control. Values near the middle are treated as neutral or balanced.
Divergence explanation
Regular divergence compares price pivots with confirmed RSI pivots:
- Regular bullish divergence: price makes a lower low while RSI makes a higher low
- Regular bearish divergence: price makes a higher high while RSI makes a lower high
Pivot confirmation uses left and right bars. This avoids using incomplete pivots and helps keep confirmed divergence stable.
Hidden divergence explanation
Hidden divergence is included for continuation-style RSI context:
- Hidden bullish divergence: price makes a higher low while RSI makes a lower low
- Hidden bearish divergence: price makes a lower high while RSI makes a higher high
This is useful when RSI resets while price maintains its broader directional structure.
Failure swing explanation
RSI failure swing is a classic pure RSI technique. It does not require external indicators.
- Bullish failure swing: RSI moves below oversold, rebounds, makes a higher internal low and breaks the internal RSI swing high
- Bearish failure swing: RSI moves above overbought, falls, makes a lower internal high and breaks the internal RSI swing low
Rilvanta RSI PrimeSuite detects these patterns using confirmed RSI pivots.
RSI momentum shift explanation
The indicator monitors smoothed RSI crossing its RSI signal line while also considering the RSI 50-line and RSI slope. This helps identify bullish or bearish momentum shifts from RSI alone.
MTF RSI dashboard explanation
The optional multi-timeframe dashboard reads RSI from selected higher timeframes and summarizes the alignment:
- Bullish Aligned
- Bearish Aligned
- Mixed
- Waiting
This is still a pure RSI feature because it only compares RSI state across timeframes.

Input explanation
RSI Settings
Configure RSI period, applied price, smoothing period, signal period and whether to display raw RSI, smoothed RSI and the signal line.
RSI Levels
Configure overbought, oversold, extreme overbought, extreme oversold and midline levels.
Divergence Settings
Control regular divergence, hidden divergence, pivot left/right bars, minimum pivot distance, maximum pivot distance, minimum RSI difference, minimum price difference and whether divergence should be drawn in the RSI subwindow or on the price chart.
Failure Swing Settings
Enable or disable RSI failure swing detection and markers.
Momentum Settings
Control RSI momentum shift detection, slope period, histogram display and whether extreme entries should be avoided.
MTF Settings
Enable or disable the multi-timeframe RSI dashboard and select up to three higher timeframes.
Display Settings
Control the dashboard, main chart markers, RSI structure labels, background style options, color theme and realtime preview.
Alert Settings
Optional alerts can be enabled for regular divergence, hidden divergence, failure swings, overbought/oversold events and RSI momentum shifts. Alerts are disabled by default to avoid unnecessary noise.
Non-repaint statement
Rilvanta RSI PrimeSuite is designed to avoid repainting confirmed signals. Divergence and RSI structure are based on confirmed RSI pivots after the required right-side bars are closed. Confirmed crossover and momentum events are based on closed bars. Bar zero is not used for confirmed signals unless the optional realtime preview is enabled, and preview information should not be treated as confirmed.
