Quant Pivot EA waits patiently for high-probability market setups. When the condition is met, it opens a single trade with a fixed SL and TP. This patient approach means fewer trades but more decisive entries—designed for traders who prefer accuracy over frequency.
It’s simple:
-
Attach the EA to USDCAD & EURGBP charts (15M TF)
-
Run it on a VPS with at least $200 balance
-
Let it work—no manual intervention needed
Quant Pivot EA is for traders who understand that in forex, patience + precision = profits.
Run it, trust it, and let the strategy do the work.
Parameters & Settings
Magic Number:
A unique identifier for trades placed by this EA. This prevents conflicts if you are running multiple EAs on the same account.
Fixed Lot Size:
The volume of each trade. For example, 0.1 means 0.1 lots per trade. Adjust based on your account balance and risk appetite.
Hard SL in pips:
The fixed Stop Loss in pips.
Hard TP in pips:
The fixed Take Profit in pips.
0 = Disabled Settings:
-
Some parameters use 0 to disable the feature (e.g., no limit or no specific setting).
-
Example: Max open trades = 0 means there’s no limit on the number of trades (unless other conditions apply).
Enable Step-Based Pips Trailing:
If set to true, activates a trailing stop that moves in predefined steps as the price moves in your favor.
Start Trailing When Profit >= This (pips):
The number of pips in profit before the trailing stop starts.
Example: 100 means trailing will only start after the trade is 100 pips in profit.
After Trigger 1, SL = Entry +/- This Offset:
Once Trigger 1 is reached, the Stop Loss is moved closer to the entry point by this many pips.
Example: 50 means after Trigger 1, the SL is moved 50 pips away from entry (locking in profit or reducing risk).
Second Trigger Level (pips):
The profit level at which Trigger 2 activates.
Example: 150 means when the trade is 150 pips in profit, Trigger 2 activates.
After Trigger 2, SL = Entry +/- This Offset:
After Trigger 2 activates, the SL is adjusted again by the set offset.
Example: 100 means SL is set 100 pips away from the entry, locking in more profit.
Legacy Bar-Based Trailing (Fallback):
If enabled, trailing will use bar close prices instead of real-time ticks—useful for slower trailing methods.
Hold at Most 1 Position per Symbol/Magic:
If true, the EA will only hold one trade per currency pair per magic number at any time.
Evaluate Logic Once per Bar:
If true, the EA only checks entry/exit signals once per bar close (reducing noise and false entries).
