Fer Scalphunter fonctionne en continu et ouvre des positions 24h/24 et 5j/7 en fonction de la tendance, en utilisant deux moyennes mobiles. Si le prix s'inverse, il ouvre des positions en grille et en martingale jusqu'à ce qu'il revienne à sa direction initiale et clôture toutes les positions avec profit.
