Over a decade in the markets. Now I build the tools I wanted for myself.
I make clean, simple tools for MetaTrader 5. Each one does one job and stays readable on any chart, dark or light.
What you will find here
- HTF Candles: higher timeframe candles in a small floating panel. - Version: 1.15
- Activations: 5
SMC Toolbox puts the levels, candles, gaps, blocks and killzones you read on a chart into one indicator: previous day, week and month highs and lows with the month and year opens, higher timeframe candles with an approximate volume profile, fair value gaps and BPR, order blocks, breaker blocks and ICT killzones. Each layer is switched on or off with one button on a small floating panel.
Levels
- Previous day, week and month highs and lows (PDH, PDL, PWH, PWL, PMH, PML), this month's open (MO) and this year's open (YO): the liquidity levels ICT traders watch.
- Optionally keep the lines of the last six past periods.
- PDH and PDL come from the previous daily candle. A Sunday candle is skipped.
- Day, week, month and year boundaries follow your broker's server time.
Higher timeframe candles
- Up to five timeframes, each with 1 to 15 candles. H4, D1 and W1 are set by default; H1 and MN1 can be added.
- Two views: Internal, drawn on the chart to the right of the last bar, or External, in a floating candles panel.
- The forming candle shows the time left until it closes. The time runs to the symbol's last trading time inside that candle, not midnight.
Volume profile
- Each timeframe block can carry a volume profile: an approximate profile from tick volume, the number of price changes. On forex it is an estimate of activity, not traded volume.
- The row with the most volume, the point of control (POC), is highlighted. A block says "partial data" when the chart's history does not reach its first candle.
Fair value gaps and BPR
- Gaps from 1M, 1W, 1D, 4h, 1h and 15m. 1D and 4h are selected by default.
- A gap must be at least a set multiple of ATR(14) (default 0.3). A gap is removed when a candle of its timeframe closes beyond its far edge.
- BPR has its own settings: where a new gap overlaps a live gap of the other side, on the timeframes you choose. It ends when a candle closes beyond it.
Order blocks
- A strong candle (body of at least 1 × ATR(14), or one that leaves a fair value gap) closes beyond the last swing. The strong-candle rule can be switched off; swing strength is 3 bars each side by default (1–10).
- The block is the body of the last opposite candle among the 6 candles ending where the move started.
- A box ends when a candle closes through its far side. After the first touch it is drawn 50 more bars (1–500).
- A new box that overlaps a live one on the same side is not added. The newest 3 live boxes per side are shown (1–20).
- Closed candles only, over the last 3,000 bars.
Breaker blocks
- A sweep of a swing, then a structure shift with displacement; the zone spans from the broken swing level to the sweep extreme.
- Drawn in the order block colors with a dashed edge and a "BRK" label. A zone that flips gets a second box in the other color.
- ZigZag reversal (default 3 √ó ATR) and the displacement rule can be set. Closed candles only, over the last 5,000 bars.
ICT killzones
- Windows in New York time: Asia killzone, London killzone, New York AM killzone and London close are on by default. New York PM killzone, the three Silver Bullet hours, CBDR, the Asian range, macros, the midnight open and the 08:30 open can be switched on, and every window's times can be changed.
- Tokyo, London and New York sessions can be added in their own local time.
- Shown on charts of 1 hour and lower, for the last 5 days.
- The times are converted from New York time to your broker's server time. If your broker's server does not run at New York + 7 hours or at a fixed offset (for example a server on European summer time), the
windows can be off by one hour for 1–3 weeks a year.
One compact panel
- Timeframe rows and eight buttons: Levels · Candles · Profile · FVG · BPR · OB · Breaker · Killzones.
- On first use only the level lines are on; switch on what you use.
- Settings open only from the gear, on ten pages: Levels, Candles, Profile, Layout, FVG, BPR, OB, Breaker, Killzones and Colors.
- One color language: the up and down colors are used by the candles, order blocks, breakers and BPR; level lines, gaps and killzones are neutral. Each color has six choices.
- Panel size 70–200%, with + and −. "Reset to inputs" brings back the values of the input dialog.
Alerts
- Gear ‚Üí Levels page ‚Üí "Alert near": one chip for each level (PMH, PML, PWH, PWL, MO, YO, PDH, PDL).
- An alert fires when price comes within a distance of the level: a share of the daily ATR(14) (default 0.10), a percent of price, or a price distance.
- Popup, push notification to the MT5 mobile app, or e-mail.
- Each alert fires once. It is set again when price moves twice the distance away or the level changes, and never twice on the same bar.
- An alert rings only while that level's line is shown. If you hide the line, your choice is kept for when you show it again.
What it does not do
SMC Toolbox only draws prices, levels, zones and time windows, and alerts you if you ask it to. It does not give buy or sell signals and does not place trades. Data, not advice.

Questions
Does it give entry signals?
No. It marks levels, candles, gaps, blocks and killzones. Where you enter is your decision.
Does it repaint?
Levels come from closed days, weeks, months and years. Gaps, order blocks and breakers are read on closed candles. The forming higher timeframe candle and its profile move with price.
When does an alert fire?
When price comes within your distance of a level whose chip is on and whose line is shown. If price is already that close when you switch a chip on, or when the chart opens with a chip on, it fires once on the next price tick.
Are the killzone times right for my broker?
They are set in New York time and converted to your broker's server time. On a server that runs at New York + 7 hours or at a fixed offset they follow New York all year. On a server with European summer time they can be off by one hour for 1–3 weeks a year, when the US and Europe change clocks on different dates.
Is the volume profile exact?
No. It is an approximate profile from tick volume.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Use the free demo in the Strategy Tester before you buy. Alerts and killzones are off in the Tester.
