Trade Manager Bastion

Trade Manager Bastion is a trading panel for manual traders with a built-in risk defense. You plan each trade on the chart with risk-based lot size, manage it automatically after entry, and set daily limits that stop you from overtrading on a bad day.

Trade: plan the order on the chart

• Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit as lines on the chart: drag them or type the price, with ▲▼ arrows to move SL and TP by a few points
• Lot size calculated from your risk % at the Stop Loss, or from the profit % you want at the Take Profit
• R:R from a single input, with a lock to keep TP or SL fixed while you move the entry
• Market, Limit and Stop orders, Buy and Sell; REVERSE turns a buy plan into a sell plan with the same distances
• Anchor button: brings a dragged entry back to the market price
• Margin check before sending: shows when the order cannot be opened
• Minimum lot wall: SL and TP stop where the lot would fall below the broker minimum
• Symbol selector from Market Watch inside the panel

Manage: rules that work while you are away

• Breakeven at X R plus a few points
• Partial close of a chosen percentage at X R, once per trade
• Trailing stop from X R at a chosen distance, only in your favour
• The rules apply to every trade opened with Bastion on any symbol, also when you switch the chart to another symbol
• Close all, close only buys, only sells, only trades in profit, delete pending orders; each button asks for a confirmation click
• On each trade line on the chart: breakeven, close 50%, trailing on/off for that trade, close
• Profiles: save up to 5 sets of settings with a name and load them with one click

Defense: daily limits you cannot switch off in the middle of the day

You choose the limits once and confirm them. From that moment Bastion enforces them on the whole account.

• Modes: Prop firm (daily risk budget, daily drawdown and max total loss), Trades + risk %, or Trade count only
• Maximum trades per day, daily risk budget %, maximum losing trades, pause after a loss
• Daily drawdown including floating profit and loss
• Max total loss % from the balance at confirmation, with deposits and withdrawals excluded. When it is reached the account stays locked for good
• When a limit is reached: new entries are blocked, pending orders are deleted, and new trades opened by hand are closed. Open trades stay under your control, except at the daily drawdown and the max total loss: there Bastion also closes all open positions (input, on by default)
• Status bar at the top of the panel: armed, near the limit (from 80%), locked, with counters and a progress bar
• Sound and push notification at 80% of a limit and when a lock starts
• Daily reset at midnight of your computer time zone by default, or of Central Europe, London, New York, Tokyo, Sydney, UTC or server time, with daylight saving applied automatically

When you can change it: the defense stays active every day with the same limits. You can edit it or switch it off only before your first trade of the day, so the decision is taken with a clear head. After the first trade it is locked until the next daily reset.

Panel

Three tabs (Trade, Manage, Defense), draggable, can be minimized to a compact bar with symbol, lot, R:R and a candle countdown. Texts in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. The panel also works in the Strategy Tester in visual mode, so you can practise your manual trading on history with the defense active.

Main inputs

• Trade: risk %, R:R, target %, initial stop and pending distance, order comment, magic number, slippage, SL/TP arrow step
• Defense: default mode and limits, max total loss %, close positions at the limit, reset time zone, push and sound notifications
• Manage: also manage trades not opened by Bastion
• Panel: language, position, colors of the TP and SL areas

Notes

• Enable Algo Trading in MetaTrader 5.
• Defense works on the whole account: when it locks, it deletes pending orders and closes new trades on any symbol. Try it on a demo account first.
• Prop firms count limits in different ways: set your limits a little tighter than the ones of your prop firm.
• Push notifications need your MetaQuotes ID in Tools > Options > Notifications.
