ATR Trade Zone

Overview
ATR Trade Zone is a technical indicator for MetaTrader 5. It projects entry, stop loss and take profit levels onto the chart using the Average True Range (ATR) of the current symbol and timeframe. The levels are drawn as filled zones and horizontal price lines starting from a bar selected by the user.
The indicator is an analysis tool. It does not open trades and does not provide buy or sell signals.
Displayed elements
The indicator draws the following elements on the main chart window:
1. An entry line placed at the price of the anchor bar.
2. Up to three stop loss levels on one side of the entry, scaled by ATR multiples.
3. Up to three take profit levels on the opposite side of the entry, scaled by ATR multiples.
4. Filled rectangular zones between consecutive levels.
5. Horizontal price lines at each level to mark the exact price.
6. A small panel with placement, removal and direction controls.
Interpretation
Each level represents a fixed distance from the entry, expressed as a multiple of the ATR value read from the anchor bar. The zone fill marks the price range between two adjacent levels. The horizontal line marks the exact price of that level. The direction control mirrors the layout: a long placement draws the stop loss levels below the entry and the take profit levels above it, and a short placement reverses this arrangement.
The ATR multiples, the entry price source and the colors are user inputs. How these levels are applied to trading decisions is the trader's own choice.
Input parameters
The parameters are grouped as follows:
1. General: indicator visibility and diagnostic logging.
2. ATR: the ATR period used to scale the levels.
3. Entry: which price of the anchor bar is used as the entry.
4. Stop loss and take profit: ATR multiples and zone colors for up to three levels on each side.
5. Visual: zone transparency, line style, line width, line color, text color and font settings.
6. Panel: screen corner and pixel offset for the on-chart control panel.
Technical notes
The indicator works on any symbol and any timeframe and reads the price data of the current chart. Level calculations use the built-in Average True Range indicator over the period set by the user. All chart objects are created on the main window and are removed automatically when the indicator is detached.
The indicator does not use DLLs, external resources or network requests. It does not send data outside the terminal.
