This Expert Advisor is designed for traders who want to participate in periods of strong market volatility and rapid price expansion.
The EA continuously evaluates live market conditions and is designed to react quickly when suitable high-volatility conditions develop. It also includes automated trade and risk management so that positions can be managed after entry without requiring constant manual intervention.
Best Used During Anticipated High Volatility
This EA is best used when significant market volatility is anticipated, particularly around major economic releases and events that have the potential to generate strong and rapid price movements.
Examples include:
- Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP)
- Central bank interest-rate decisions
- Other high-impact, market-moving economic announcements
The EA does not attempt to predict whether the market will move up or down following an announcement. Instead, it is designed to respond to the market conditions and volatility that develop.
Because not every economic announcement produces a significant market reaction, users are encouraged to focus on events that are generally expected to have a strong impact on the instrument being traded.
Recommended Trading Sessions
For best use, I recommend operating the EA around the following sessions:
New York Session
- Activate the EA approximately 2 hours before the New York session opens.
- Allow it to operate throughout the session.
- At the end of the New York session, the EA may be deactivated only if there is no open trade.
- If a position is still open, leave the EA running until the position has been fully managed and closed.
Hong Kong Session
- Activate the EA approximately 1 hour before the Hong Kong session opens.
- Allow it to operate throughout the session.
- At the end of the session, it may be deactivated if there is no open trade.
- If a trade remains open, keep the EA running until the position has closed.
Please ensure that the correct session times are converted to your broker's server time. New York session times may also change relative to your broker time because of daylight-saving time.
VPS Recommended
A VPS with a stable, low-latency connection to your broker is strongly recommended.
During high-volatility conditions, prices can move extremely quickly. Reducing execution latency can help the EA respond to qualifying market conditions and submit trades as early as possible.
A VPS cannot eliminate slippage or guarantee execution at a particular price, but it can provide a more stable trading environment than relying on a personal computer or an inconsistent internet connection.
Important
This EA is intended for high-volatility trading. Such market conditions can involve increased spreads, slippage and rapid price changes.
Users should test the EA carefully and select position sizing appropriate for their account size and individual risk tolerance.
Do not remove the EA from the chart unless position is closed, or close MetaTrader or disconnect the VPS while an EA-managed position is still open.
You can close the position whenever you are happy.
