Kingdom Knight was not built in a month. It survived five years of them.
Five years of research. Entire systems that looked perfect in backtests — and were buried when blind testing exposed them as illusions. We know the exact feeling every burned EA buyer knows: the beautiful equity curve that collapses the moment real money touches it. We have felt it from the builder's side of the table.
So we changed the oath. Every new idea had to survive tests designed to kill it. Parameters chosen without ever seeing the test period. Twenty thousand Monte Carlo simulations. Controlled year-by-year experiments. We once discovered a filter that added +49% to our backtest — and we deleted it, because the controlled test proved it was hindsight. Deleting it cost us nothing. Keeping it would have cost you.
What survived five years of executions is this: three strategies, 897 trades, nine profitable years out of nine, and a shield on every single order. Not the system with the prettiest curve — the only one we could not kill.

THE NUMBERS — AND THE HONEST PART
Three independent strategies (H4 / H12 / W1 bias) hunt liquidity sweeps on Gold H1. 897 trades across 8.6 years of backtest, profitable in 9 of 9 years. Default profile: $10,000 -> $1.8M backtest (184x).
And here is what other sellers will not tell you: honest Monte-Carlo drawdown is ~33%, and bad regimes can exceed 40%. Win rate is 26.8% by design — we lose small often and win big rarely (average win 4.4x the average loss). 16-loss streaks have happened and will happen again. Some months lose. If you need to win every day, this EA is not for you.

- Two-way blind walk-forward: parameters optimized ONLY on 2018-2022, then tested blind on 2023-2026 — and the reverse. Profitable in BOTH blind periods.

- XAUUSD H1 only
- Account type: Hedging (mandatory)
- 2-decimal Gold quotes REQUIRED - not compatible with 3-decimal Gold brokers (developed and tested on IC Markets RAW)
- Deposit: minimum $1,000 recommended ($500 possible — see the fidelity table below). Full fidelity: $5,000+
- Leverage: 1:100 minimum, 1:500 recommended where available. Note: leverage does not change this EA's risk (risk is fixed by stop loss sizing) - higher leverage only gives more margin headroom. Regulated 1:20 accounts can still run the Squire/Knight profiles.
- VPS recommended for 24/5 operation. Honest note: because SL & TP live at the BROKER, your open positions stay protected even if your terminal disconnects - a VPS only prevents missed new entries. (EAs that manage exits in code cannot say this.)

We backtested your deposit size so you don't have to (full 8.6-year run, default profile):

Risk stayed ~29% drawdown at every size. Under-capitalized accounts lose compounding power - never safety: trades that cannot meet honest risk sizing are skipped, never oversized. Honest note: at today's gold prices, accounts under ~$3,000 may skip some wide-stop signals until the account grows.
Rank note: Knight and Knight Commander run fine at $500. Squire needs $1,000+ — its smaller positions cannot meet honest sizing on a $500 account, and we tested that too.
