OVERVIEW

**OFX CVD** plots the **Cumulative Volume Delta** — the running balance of buying
vs selling pressure — and automatically flags **CVD / price divergences**, the
early-warning moments when price makes a new high or low but order-flow does not
confirm it.
It is purpose-built and validated for **XAUUSD (Gold)** on the **H1** timeframe.

WHAT IT DOES

• **CVD line** — a running sum of each bar's delta (buy volume minus sell volume),
so you see whether buyers or sellers are truly in control over time.
• **Session reset** — the CVD resets at each new broker day, keeping the read
clean and comparable session to session.
• **Automatic divergence detection** on confirmed swing pivots:
– Price makes a **higher high** but CVD makes a **lower high** → **bearish
divergence** (distribution / SELL warning) — red arrow.
– Price makes a **lower low** but CVD makes a **higher low** → **bullish
divergence** (accumulation / BUY warning) — green arrow.
• **Hover tooltips** — every divergence arrow carries a plain-English explanation
of what it means, right on the chart.
• **Honest by design** — a feed-quality badge is stamped **TRUE** (real volume) or
**PROXY** (feed-limited), so you always know the quality of the read.

OFX CVD is **one engine in the OrderFlow (OFX) suite** — a set of indicators built
as **one connected system, not separate tools.** Each engine reads a different,
independent side of the same gold market, and they are designed to agree:
• **OFX Delta** and **OFX CVD** (this product) — raw order-flow (per-bar delta and
cumulative delta + divergence)
• **OFX MoneyFlow** — money-flow pressure (CMF / MFI style)

When several independent engines line up in the **same direction**, the read is far
stronger than any single tool. **OFX CVD supplies the cumulative order-flow and the
divergence warnings** that confirm or caution against what the other engines show.
Use it on its own, or add the rest of the suite for multi-engine confluence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Symbol: **XAUUSD (Gold)** recommended (runs on other symbols too)
• Recommended timeframe: **H1**
• Best with a broker feed that provides **real volume**; otherwise it labels the
read PROXY and says so.
• MetaTrader 5.

HOW TO USE
-------------------------------------------------------
1. Attach OFX CVD to an **XAUUSD H1** chart — it opens in a separate window.
2. Read the CVD line for the balance of pressure; watch for divergence arrows.
3. Hover any arrow to read what it means, and confirm with the rest of the OFX
suite for higher-conviction entries.

INPUTS / PARAMETERS

• **InpHistoryBars** — Bars of history to compute the CVD over (default: 800)
• **InpRecalcBars** — Trailing bars recomputed on each tick, for speed (default: 3)
• **InpPivot** — Swing-pivot half-width in bars on each side, used to confirm the
highs/lows for divergence (default: 3)
• **InpSessionReset** — Reset the CVD at each new broker day (default: true)
• **InpShowArrows** — Draw divergence arrows with hover tooltips (default: true)

NOTE ON DATA HONESTY
-------------------------------------------------------
OFX only shows metrics your broker's feed can actually support. Where real volume
isn't available it labels its read **PROXY** instead of inventing numbers. This is
by design.
