Rhino Chart Drawing Tools for MetaTrader 5
Rhino Chart Drawing Tools provides a TradingView-style drawing workflow for MetaTrader 5. It includes 54 drawing tools, a customizable toolbar, favorites, quick styling, object settings, templates and an object manager.
Drawing Tools

Time and Price Coordinates
Drawing objects store their anchor points using time and price coordinates. Screen pixels are calculated from these coordinates when the chart is rendered.
This allows objects to remain associated with their intended bars and price levels when the chart is zoomed, scrolled, resized or switched to another timeframe.
Coordinates can also be edited directly in the object settings, allowing precise placement without moving the object manually.
Object Settings
Each drawing has its own settings panel. The available options depend on the selected object.
- Style: line color, width, line style, arrows, extensions, fill color and opacity.
- Text: caption, font size, font weight, alignment, color and position.
- Coordinates: editable time and price values for each anchor point.
- Visibility: timeframe visibility and axis readout.
- Levels: level values, colors and labels for supported Fibonacci and Gann tools.
Changes are previewed immediately on the chart. Press Cancel to restore the settings that were active when the window was opened.
Toolbar and Object Manager
The toolbar organizes the drawing tools into groups. Each group remembers the last selected tool. Frequently used tools can be added to the Favorites strip for quick access.
The toolbar, Favorites strip, quick styling bar and object manager can be moved to different positions on the chart. The interface also supports light and dark themes.
The object manager provides a list of drawings currently available on the chart. Each object can be:
- Shown or hidden.
- Locked or unlocked.
- Opened in its settings panel.
- Deleted.
Quick Styling and Templates
Select an object to display the quick styling bar. Common properties such as colors, line width, line style, templates, settings, lock and delete can be changed directly from this bar.
Object styles can be saved as templates and reused on other drawings. Templates can contain visual properties and captions, while the position of the original object is not copied.
Templates are stored on disk and remain available after restarting MetaTrader 5.
Text and Annotations
Many drawing objects support captions in addition to dedicated text and annotation tools. Captions can be edited directly on the chart.
- Double-click an object to edit its text.
- Press Shift + Enter to insert another line.
- Text on sloping objects follows the object's orientation.
Rendering and Chart Interaction
Rhino uses a vector-based drawing engine for lines, curves, text, fills and other graphical elements. The drawing layer supports anti-aliased rendering, transparent fills and dashed or dotted lines.
Hold Shift while dragging an object to constrain the movement to one axis.
When an object is selected, its price range and time range can be displayed as tags on the chart axes. These tags can be disabled for individual objects.
Drawing and Object Locks
- Drawing Lock: prevents the creation of new drawing objects.
- Object Lock: prevents existing objects from being selected or moved accidentally.
How to Use
- Attach Rhino Chart Drawing Tools to a MetaTrader 5 chart.
- Select a drawing tool from the toolbar or Favorites.
- Click or drag on the chart to create the object.
- Select an existing object to move or edit it.
- Use the settings panel for detailed configuration.
- Use templates to reuse frequently used styles.
Press Esc, Delete or the right mouse button while creating an object to cancel the current drawing operation.
Compatibility
Works with MetaTrader 5 charts, symbols and timeframes. Rhino Chart Drawing Tools does not place trades, send orders or modify trading positions.
The drawing layer operates independently of MetaTrader's standard chart objects, allowing both systems to be used on the same chart.
Important Notes
- This product is a chart drawing and analysis tool. It does not execute trades.
- It does not modify open positions or pending orders.
- It does not replace or modify MetaTrader 5's built-in chart objects.
- Object appearance, including colors, widths, fonts and levels, is configured individually for each drawing.
