Standard backtests can easily suffer from cherry-picked starting dates. To solve this, Prop Evaluation Session includes a unique, time-shifted Rolling Challenge Simulator built directly into the Strategy Tester. On each calendar day of the backtest, a new independent virtual challenge is initiated. This answers the critical question: "What is the statistical probability of passing or failing a challenge if I had started on any random day over the last 5.5 years?"

Historical Backtest Results (DE40 / GER40 - Dukascopy Real Ticks)

We performed extensive multi-year backtests (January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2026) using 100% real tick data. The default settings are aligned with standard $10,000 challenge rules (10% profit target, 5% daily loss limit, 10% total loss limit) utilizing the FTMO Swing account structure.

Analysis: A defensive approach. In this historical simulation, no challenges breached the drawdown limits, though reaching the target takes longer on average.
