Market Modes — Automatic Detection

Detection uses ADX, ATR and Bollinger Band Width. An anti-oscillation filter prevents mode changes from occurring too rapidly.

- Terminal: MetaTrader 5.
- Account type: Hedging.
- Minimum deposit: $500.
- Pair: XAUUSD. Timeframe: M12.
- For stable trading, use a VPS.
- Raw Spread account recommended.
Installation
- Attach CIAGARIA to the XAUUSD M12 chart.
- Set the ServerGMT parameter to your broker's GMT timezone.
- Enable AutoTrading from the terminal toolbar. The EA runs fully automatically.

The Story of CIAGARIA
Granada, 1933
Don Antonio García was born in a turbulent Granada, where markets trembled as much as politics. From childhood, he grew up to the rhythm of rising and falling prices, the rumours of the Madrid Stock Exchange, and conversations between men in dark suits talking of gold, pesetas and the future.
Early on, he understood something that others would take years to grasp:

Madrid, the 1960s
Don Antonio García became the most respected trader on the Madrid Stock Exchange. They say he never took a position without lighting a Cuban cigar. As the smoke slowly rose, he read the markets with a patience and precision that no one truly understood.
He didn't speak. He observed.
Other traders lost everything in a few minutes of panic. Don Antonio García waited. Always. For the exact moment when the market revealed its truth.
They simply called him "El Toro".
Toulouse & Paris, 2024 — Paul García
Don Antonio's grandson, Paul García, grew up surrounded by the notebooks. Passionate about the logic behind numbers, he earned a Master's in Finance at Toulouse Business School, with a dual degree including the DSCG — France's highest professional qualification in finance and accounting.
He works today at a major financial firm in Paris. The rules are clear: no personal trading, no conflicts of interest, without exception. He accepted this constraint without regret.
But when his sister Paola began digitising their grandfather's notebooks, Paul became indispensable. He was the one who could read the financial logic behind the handwritten notes — the market structures Don Antonio identified, the signals he waited for, the discipline he applied before every entry.
Paul cannot trade. But he can explain. And that was exactly what was missing.
Toulouse, 2024 — Paola García
Armed with her grandfather's notebooks and Paul's financial expertise, Paola García — an artificial intelligence engineer — built the algorithm.

She called it CIAGARIA.
