ATS Indicator - Market Structure (BOS / CHoCH) and Order Blocks

A clean reading of market structure for MetaTrader 5. The indicator marks every swing high and low, labels each break as a continuation (BOS) or a change of character (CHoCH), and draws the order block the move started from, until price mitigates it.

What makes it different

  • History equals live. A swing is confirmed only when the candles on both sides of it are closed, and the same rule is used on the history and in real time. What you see on past bars is exactly what you would have seen live. Nothing repaints.
  • New breaks appear while the chart is open, candle by candle, with an optional popup or push alert.
  • Clean chart. Only the most recent zones are kept (8 by default); a zone disappears as soon as price mitigates it (on the wick or on a close through, your choice).

The panel

  • Structure trend (bullish / bearish / neutral) and the last break, continuation or reversal.
  • Number of active demand and supply zones.
  • Nearest zone in the direction of the trend, with its distance and a reference stop (beyond the zone, ATR based) and target (in R).
  • Session and London / New York killzones (GMT, server offset detected automatically), ATR and spread.
  • Dark, light or automatic theme, draggable, sized for high resolution screens.

How to read it

CONT = the structure broke in the direction of the current trend. REV = it broke against it. The blue zones are demand, the pink zones are supply. The reference stop and target on the panel are levels to plan a trade, not a signal to open one.

Honest note

This is a structure-reading tool. I tested structure breaks and order block entries on XAUUSD as a standalone trading signal: on their own they do not show a statistical edge after costs. Use the indicator to read the market and to place stops and targets, together with your own method and risk management.

Inputs

  • Pivot length (default 5): lower for scalping, higher for swing.
  • Mitigation mode: on touch or on close through. Maximum zones.
  • Stop margin (x ATR) and target (R) for the reference levels.
  • Labels, colours, killzone hours, alerts.

Works on any symbol and timeframe. Drawing only: it never opens, changes or closes a trade.
