What is multi-timeframe alignment (explained simply)

Each timeframe can tell a different story. A short timeframe may be bullish, a medium one neutral, and a long one bearish.

When multiple timeframes tell the same story, the market becomes more orderly and easier to read.

This indicator measures how much the selected timeframes are aligned LONG, SHORT, or in a FLAT state, and does so in percentage terms, so you do not have to interpret ambiguous signals.

For each selected timeframe, the indicator shows the LONG, SHORT, and FLAT percentages, a colored visual bar for each percentage, and the percentage change compared to the previous bar (for example +2.30% or −1.10%).

At the end, the indicator also calculates an overall average alignment that represents the dominant direction of all active timeframes combined.

All values are updated exclusively on closed candles, to avoid unstable or misleading signals.

LONG is displayed in blue, SHORT in red, and FLAT always in gray, because it represents a neutral and non-operational state.

The visual bars allow you to understand the strength of the alignment at a glance, without having to interpret complex numbers.

In the indicator settings, you will find only what is truly necessary, without useless options.

For each timeframe, you can choose whether to use it (true) or disable it (false). It is possible to use up to 5 timeframes simultaneously.

For example, you can use M15 and H1 and disable D1, W1, and MN1, creating your own personal combination of timeframes.

The PRO version includes an advanced and intelligent alert system, designed not to spam and to notify you only when it really matters.

You can choose whether to receive notifications for LONG alignment, for SHORT alignment, and set the minimum percentage that must be reached, for example 70%.

Alerts work only on closed candles.

The alert is sent exclusively when the condition changes from false to true. If the condition remains true, the alert is not repeated. If the condition becomes false and then true again, a new alert is sent.

In simple words, the indicator notifies you only when a new alignment is formed, not while the situation remains unchanged.

It is enough for even just one active timeframe to close its candle. At that moment, the indicator recalculates all percentages and, if the condition is satisfied, the alert is sent immediately.

It is not necessary for all timeframes to close their candles at the same moment.

To receive push notifications on your phone, an initial setup is required.

On your PC, open MetaTrader 5, go to Tools → Options → Notifications, enter your MetaQuotes ID, enable “Push Notifications,” and click “Test” to verify that the message arrives on your phone.

On your phone, simply install the MetaTrader 5 app and log in with the same account. It is not necessary for the app to remain open.

The PC or VPS must remain turned on, MetaTrader 5 must be open, and the indicator must be loaded on the chart. The phone can be turned off: notifications will still arrive.

If MetaTrader is closed, notifications will not be sent. If the indicator is removed from the chart, notifications will not be sent. If the symbol is changed on the same chart, alerts are disabled for safety.

To receive notifications on another symbol, simply load the indicator on that chart.
