Shaolin Trend Follow v2.1
Optimized for EURUSD on MetaTrader 5
A lightweight, purely signal-only indicator that follows a strict top-down workflow: it first confirms the dominant swing on H4, then waits for volatility-adjusted entry engines on M15. No automated orders or money management—just clear ▲/▼ markers when conditions align, so you can act as you see fit.
-
H4 Trend Confirmation
-
Parabolic SAR + ADX filter ensures only established up- or down-trends pass through.
-
M15 entries are only enabled when H4 is trending.
-
-
Volatility Bands
-
H4 ATR splits the market into three regimes (low, medium, high volatility).
-
Entry engines are selectively activated according to the current regime.
-
-
M15 Entry Engines
When H4 trend and volatility regime permit, any one of these will plot a ▲ (buy) or ▼ (sell):-
Oscillator reversion (e.g. RSI oversold/overbought bounce)
-
EMA crossover (price crossing a key moving average)
-
Stochastic momentum (low-volatility regime)
-
MACD momentum (medium-high volatility)
-
CCI momentum (medium-high volatility)
-
-
Optional Volume Filter
-
Can require the current M15 bar’s tick volume to exceed its recent average.
-
-
Display & DataWindow Support
-
▲/▼ drawn as chart text objects for pixel-perfect placement on any timeframe.
-
Hidden buffers provide BuyPrice/SellPrice values in the DataWindow on hover.
-
