MSM Multi Chart Crosshair Sync

MSM Multi Chart Crosshair Sync keeps several MetaTrader 5 charts on the same moment in time. Click on one chart and all other charts scroll to the same time, even far back in history.

It is useful when you study one symbol on several timeframes, or several symbols side by side, and want to see what happened on every chart at the same candle.

How it works

  • Attach the indicator to every chart that should stay in sync.
  • Left-click on any chart. The other charts move so that the clicked time is in the middle of the screen.
  • If a chart does not have that history yet, it is loaded automatically. A small "Loading history" note is shown while waiting.
  • A dotted time line and a dotted price line mark the synced moment on every chart. On a different symbol, the price line shows that chart's close of the same bar.
  • While you move the mouse, the lines follow the cursor on the current chart.

Control for each chart

  • A small ON/OFF button and the hotkey S turn sync on or off for one chart only.
  • Each chart can send clicks, receive clicks, or both.
  • The on/off state is kept when you change the timeframe.

Inputs

  • Sync: send, receive, scroll to the synced time.
  • Lines: show lines, price line on other symbols, colors, styles and widths.
  • Button and hotkey: show button, corner, position, colors, hotkey letter.
  • Advanced: loading note, redraw speed, history download delay, debug messages.

Notes

  • Works with any symbol and any timeframe. Charts must be in the same MetaTrader 5 terminal.
  • The hotkey works when the chart window has keyboard focus.
  • In the Strategy Tester only one chart is available, so syncing between charts cannot be shown there.
  • No DLL and no internet connection needed.
